Hey KB,

My folks have been bike riders since way back when, and my brother has been riding for ages too, so I've wanted to pick up riding for a while, but just recently I got my A into G and bought a bike and started riding, and I love it.

Me:
22 year old white guy, I work as a relief teacher (it's Okay work...), I enjoy nothing more than a cold beer and some light conversation.

My bike:
Kawasaki Ninja 250R, 2008, Green. I just got rid of the L pates. I've just been running it in recently, so I've been handling it with kid gloves, but on the odd occasion that I have opened it up, it goes "pretty fast" :msn-wink:

Anyway, Nice to meet you all.
Play nice.
Fraser.

Urg, yeah, money was one of the reasons I waited so long. finally saved up enough.
I had looked at getting a gn250, but didn't want one of the chinese ones, and couldn't find a japanese one in good knick for a good price. Besides, I like a bike with a fairing much better.

BTW....interesting user name
yeah, short for Halcyon Days (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halcyon_days) as you may have guessed

but yeah, I think I'll have a look at the events calander and see if there are any rides that I might tag along on. but I might wait until I've cut my teeth a little more first.

I think I know enough ninja 250 riders to start a ninja 250 club :bleh:
Come along to NASS once it starts again next year:

A teacher you say and on a 250 you say.
