gonna do a bit of a tour for a week in south island from the 18 jan:woohoo:,would be good to kick tyres with fellow k'bers or join in on any rallies etc that may be happening around that time;).am planning on camping etc and will be going as far south as queenstown.lets hope the weather sorts its self:rolleyes::clap:

anybody know of any cool or unusual camping spots,going down west coast coming back up east coast with a couple of east west passes thrown in.

Danseys Pass Holiday Park, Waitaki Valley, 15kms in from Duntroon. A great little camp.

may just do that,will be getting off ferry at about 1.30 pm on sun 18th:sunny:(i'm very low maintenance:innocent:)

Indeed. The grounds at Pleasant Flat and Camerons Creek (both in Haast Pass) are good spots.

just got back, and what can say south island is motorcycling paradise:2thumbsup.should have took meanie and yods advice and not caught the ferry back:crybaby:.on a major downer now.son says he cant be bothered with riding his bike in north island now:weep:.why cant the roading people make the roads as smooth up here?:oi-grr:aw well start saving for the next one:2thumbsup
