:2thumbsup Welcome to KB mate, Yes it takes time to get back and get the skills you use to have. Many of us older guys and girls have had a breather from riding after either from family or from accidents.
So dont worry you are not the only one.
Enjoy :clap::cool:

Welcome aboard, and give yourself time with getting your confidence back as I was out of the riders seat for just on 20 yrs and i know feel like I have never been out of it. The more you get out riding the quicker you cofidence will come back to you. Happy motorcycling and enjoy being back out there.

The Satantunes look nice. :niceone:
You got the spuds for them? I've got two - the standard 'stealth' one, and a cut down version. Apparently the newer VTech ones come in two internal diameters instead - small (quiet) and large bore.

Very nice!
Tail is tidied up quite nicely as well.
How do you find the bar-risers?

How do you find the bar-risers?
Oh! You're more observant than me (prolly cos you've got a Vtec as well). I'd imagine he just puts his hands out, and there they are... :whistle:

I like my VFR sans risers. I had some on the VTR1000 (which was an early model, so had low bars), but didn't see the need for them on the VFR, so gave them to janal8743824812 or whatever Alan calls himself.
Sometimes I find the bars not quite right: too low, too high or too 'not angled enough', depending on the circumstances. That must mean they're just right.

Hi Dave,
Nice bike, you'll have plenty of fun on it.

I am also new to KB and recently got my first big bike after dabbling over the years. I live in your area (TA side of Maungatautari) and I am keen for a cruise. I have been for a few rides in the last week, Kawhia and the Mount. But I need someone else to ride with who is out to enjoy the great roads in our area rather than race and scare yourself shitless. Send me a PM if you have some days in mind, or I'll txt you any rides I plan.

Cheers
