Hello all!
Well I'm sure some of you read how I downgraded from my Blackbird to an upgrade on the ER6F due to how much fun it is, and I and every other owner/previous owner will still agree to that!

However the main reason I left the ol' bird was that I had started working 7 days a week with little (read: NO) holiday periods. That is changing this year and I am thinking maybe I would like to move back up (and possibly because I am a bike whore, we all have a little DMNTD in us, right?).

Not that this bike isn't competent, infact it is set up for perfect touring conditions! I guess it's more that I've learnt a hell of a lot from this bike and feel I can move back up to another bike!

Things I have done on this bike:

HH Sintered brake pads
Puig bubble screen
OEM Kawasaki mirror extenders (can see more than your elbows! hooray!)
Ninja650shop Ninja SportBar 2.0 bars (see photos); these act as raised clipons and improve front end feedback as well as the overall feel of the bike. The bike will also come with some Renthal wide Streetfighter bars that are pre drilled for the bike if you aren't into the whole clipon deal.
Very flash anodised red valve caps on tyres! :first:
FULL Givi setup, made specifically for the ER6F; this includes a stupidly massive top box which I use on a daily basis, as well as 2 x massive side panniers. All keys accounted for, etc. The top box can hold 2 x helmets, side panniers can hold a helmet each, all with room to spare. Quite frankly it is the bees knees.
Obligatory carbon tank protector

No scratches, all perfect, when this thing shines it SHINES. The sparkly black reflects grass even at night when polished. Unfortunately these photos I took just after a ride today, so it's a little dusty (windy Auckland day!).

The price is not set but I do not think I would like to go lower, all my mileage is done at scenery taking in speeds and is immaculate, all services (all 2 of them) documented by Mt Eden Motorcycles, where I bought it. They also fitted the current bars. I believe an as new one, stock is $10,590, the $10,000 price is very worthy, the Givi set alone was a few grand (it was used to match the price of my Blackbird I was trading in).

Cheers guys, input very much appreciated.

More pics, last pic is just showing how the Givi pannier mounts are set up. They don't intrude on the lines of the bike at all IMO. Looks great.

Well as I live n'breathe my mate is selling his girl! :oi-grr: I dunno, a brand new bike, just barely run in with options splooging out and he's giving her the old heave ho :weep:

I tell you, this guy is a creep. This bike is way too good for him and I think it's a good thing now that she's going to another future owner who will value the relationship with her!

I mean honestly ... he buys her bling. Gets her gussied up for a night on the town and only takes her to clean, non-gravelly places and never away overnight ... sheesh! What pampering!

And then he wants to ditch her for a new girl. These young 'uns ... don't know what they have in front of them until they lose it :slap:

Well, as I said, anyone buying this bike will be getting a bargain. If it was kawasaki green I'd probably buy it myself (seeing as I don't have a kawasaki or a green bike).

Remember ... only caring prospective owners who actually ride distances should buy this bike!

Buuuump. :sunny:
On TM for 9950, may go slighty lower for a KB'er. Probably best, I have numerous (suprisingly, actually) KB'ers hanging around it telling me to keep it. I don't need their peer pressure!

Thanks mate, yeah I had a fair amount of interest, unfortunately they were all on the other island! Had a guy come up from Hamilton to have a look at it, came back today after test riding a few SV650's and finally decided on mine. On and upwards from here!

With whimsical memories of my ZZR1100 and 'Bird, and lack of comfort in smaller/sport bikes. I may have to just go right to the be-all-end-all for me so I can get there, and stay there. Forever.
