just having a browse around thumpertalk, some guys on there are talking about pipe spacers, which from my research appears to space your pipe off the engine 2-5mm depending on the bike, apparently meant to give them a lot more bottom end with a bit of a top end sacrifice.
might be something worth looking into for those riding a 2t and wanting more down low

Interesting. Was just thinking of adding a rubber washer at end of pipe for better seal and to stop hammering the join point as well. Figured the two KTM 'O' rings could use some help. Seems like you'd have to add heaps to make a difference to performance but will have a look. Cheers for the heads up.

I got some new Orings for my pipe as the old one wasn't even a proper one. Made a huge difference. Bike wasn't as loud and seemed to perform better!

Standard adjustment for the yamaha 100cc Karting classes B0000M.
Most had quite a few in their tool kits at differing lengths for different, tracks, different engines, sunny, raining, long or short straights etc.
Change them on the fly and with the Micron track mapping you'd know exactly where the change benifited you.

Yeah had this on my bro's CR250 but it didn't have enough kick to the powerband so he took it off as well as the stock pipe and put a shorty on.
