Being as how it is Christmas Day and all (yep. I still call it CHRISTMAS DAY) I got to go for two rides today. And had a nice Christmas dinner and etc with herself. So it was not such a bad day after all.....:sunny:

Two rides. sweet. I only went for one, seeing as i slept in 'til 12 and couldn't get motivated til 3:30.

Was a goodie though.

Queenstown - Te Anau - Riverton - Invers - Queenstown.

550ks give or take. My longest ride since picking the old girl up in Chch in March.

As for christmas dinner... PieTime Steak Pie from Texaco in Te Anau!!

Merry Christmas!

The dinner of champions aye? :woohoo:

I went for two rides today too. Only got my bike on Tuesday night so still getting the feel of it but she treats me nice.

Went from eastern Auckland suburbs up to Orewa, back down all the way to Drury then looped back home.

Hopefully the weather holds for another tomorrow. Just need to find a destination worth visiting and I'll be sweet! :niceone:

I managed to get out for an hour or so in the evening to ride around the back of Clevedon and Maraetai. It was great going through the bays as the sun set. A great way to recharge the batteries.

I was taking it easy 'cos my daughter was on the back and the beaches were still full of jaywalking daytrippers. Saw a blinged up car crashed into a house in Manurewa with a very scared looking driver being breath tested by a cop. The occupants of the house looked ready to pounce.

Well. My boxing day ride ended up longer than expected...went the wrong way where some bright young thing had torn down the road signs...ended up miles from anywhere where the road finally turned into a goat track. Had to turn around and retrace a million miles of road...in the pissisting rain as well to make matters worse.
But I did find my way home eventually...with the fuel light in its terminal stage as well......ahh the joys of riding.....

At least you're out there doin' it slofox, one time when I was out, massive ride (70 + bikes) first time 2up, only had the Triumph about 10 days, got to our final rest stop about 5pm, after a 8am start. An hour from home, it got dark real quick (never biked at night before) I had a tinted visor, and, it started to fucken rain...got it sorted, got home, but what a day!

Instant Respect Mate,

Two rides on Crimbo day, legend status to you and the good lady.

I spent most of the day trying to get my 4 year old's Marble game to work, fecking disaster.

There was talks of hitting the road to the Coromandel but that got pulled. Mind you, spent a bit of time with the Autosol so the zorst has never looked better!

Cheers dude
