Honda VT250

Up for grabs is my 88 honda vt250
About a year ago i managed to shatter a conrod. Since then i have sourced a later style engine and bolted it in. But now there is no spark to the rear cylinder.

At the time the bike had just gotten a clean wof

Bike is in opotiki and im in hamilton - so have no time to head back and sort it out

includes pretty much new rear tyre (had been to hamilton and back twice i think)
new chain and front and rear sprockets
spares
nearly an entire set of spare fairings
forks
front and rear wheels - with tyres - still with a bit of use in them
seat
tank
all the lights/indicators
the original engine
set of carbs
spare set of most of the electrics eg cdi - switches etc
(pretty much a second bike minus the frame)

The bike is in good nick - in metallic blue
the chin fairing has been split and welded up at some point
and i notice a few scratches from being in storage (i think theres a touch up spray paint in with the parts)

cant remember correct kms - wont be the same due to new engine anyway

what model engine does it have? or do you know what model and year the donor bike is?

hi, not sure on the year - there was a change over around 89 where they improved the oil gallerys (part of the reason the original engine died i believe) and changed the way the front sprocket attaches

so same engine really - just improved
