Indeed. I'm still on a restricted licence, it was only $2,500, and it is beautiful beyond compare. Except for all the dinged-up bits and the permanent layer of grime, of course. But with the eyes of love, one can see past such surface trivialities.

And I don't think masochism comes into it; quite the opposite. It's the most comfy two fiddy I've ridden. 7 hours in the saddle and one's arse still feels pert and refreshed, with nary a twinge in the wrists, shoulders or knees.

To compare, I couldn't even do a two-hour run on a CBR250RR from Takapuna to Clevedon and back without multiple agonising roadside stretchy stops. I am not very, hmmmm, bendable.
