i used to live in Wasilla Alaska.....Alaskan Highway is frozen/corrugated after Whitehorse BC untill may-ish.....
Very hard on tyres and suspension.....

Indeed. He is an adventurous man, but this time the cold will be a much bigger threat. Watching his progress with great interest.
