Or ride slower:whistle:
Or don't be such a dufus - pick more suitable places to ride as you want to......
A jammer and detector on your bike would probably double it's weight (and value)

Dunno what the max range is, regularly get good laser readings at 300+ metres though.
And it is possible (but not not often) to get a radar reading at 1.7km.

Well ya done better than i did bro ! SC and Army, shit i only learnt long division when i was in my late twenties, punctuation and spelling came later ! But shit, i didn't wanna be at school and when i left i was earning good money for a 14 yr old, Still earn good money for a 14 yr old
Here's a trick for ya to try though !
Type the whole thing your writing and then go back and read it, then every time you feel the reader should take a breath, put a comma in, just like that. But not where you have writen "and", as that is a breath point on its own ! (exclamation mark means i have made a statement, full stop means sentance is finished take another breath and new paragraph means new topic) Hitcher will prolly correct me on most of that and that is cool, seeing he is the educated one amoungst us !
forget about spelling apostrophies paragraphs capitals etc but a comma is gold when you want people to read a message that you write cause without it the message sometimes gets lost in the rest of the paragraph that may start dribbling on about other stuff so them that are reading it start thinking what the hell was he on about there sounds like gibberish

Hell i put them in the incorrect place all the time, but so long as it breaks the paragraph up, it's sooo much easier to read ! Try it and then instead of hitting submit post hit preview post and check for yaself how much easier it is to read !

Got a mate of mine who would regularly get a reading at around the 1km mark in Wellington "somewhere".
Had to be line of sight (of course) and motorcycles are harder to get due to the frontal area that you are aiming for but it is possible.
There a fix to all of this though, don't speed (yeah I know..... but someone had to say it). Go to a track day as proposed elsewhere on this forum. you'll have lot of fun.
Using a jammer will get you caught. It's fairly easy to tell when one is being used and you'll no doubt get pulled over and issued a ticket.

I thought that the jammer scrambled the lasers reading, and are legal.
How can you write a ticket if there is no figure displayed???

If I recall correctly you'll get ticketed under something like obstructing a constable in the performance of their duties. It's one I've heard of being used before. I don't know whether it was contested or not and what the outcome was.
If it's not that, there will no doubt be another offence that you may be charged under.
Anyone actually (first hand) been charged for the use of one? It would be interesting to know and what the outcome was.

A jammer and detector on your bike would probably double it's weight (and value)
Lol, but you could power it with manapuri on board and you would even notice. Does your bike have a blow hole?
he got me on hutt road about horokiwi(sp) ish he was parked over the rise under the naraugrana fly over and standing on the down side pointing the evil thing 2wards me
that makes the range about 5km. Not bad since there are hills in the way.

Jammers are legal to buy/have etc, however illegal to use.. i think.
Used with a good detector you will keep your licence longer
You will get a ticket if the cops a cunt, but that goes for whatever you are doing i guess..

As far as I'm aware, there is no legislation regarding the transmission of invisible light (as that is what you are doing when circumventing the laser) from the front of a vehicle.
Now if your transmitting radio waves, that's a different story - you need to get permission from the license holder (which would be Police).
