I really wanted it too, so I thought bugger it. A square $4,000 cash right now. Bang. I needed that bike. Want to race it at Paeroa and Puke, and Taupo, and everywhere I can, and also use it as my road bike. I rode it, and was well pleased, I love the CBR250RR and it felt marginally bigger with a similar weight distribution. Good luck buddy. Wished they'd kept making modern 400 and 250 4 cylinder bikes with fuel injection, would bring world peace, and feed all the hungry.

Amen to that! If they made a modern, sporty, fuel injected 400cc sports bike, that would be the bee's knees. Something like a cross between the VFR400R and the '08 CBR600RR would be nice... Like the VFR but slightly lighter, slightly more powerful, and more economical, how about that? You're telling me there's no market for a bike like that? Well, not YOU, but Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha/Kawasaki...

i was offerd 6800 from a dude in NWL but he droped out when auction closed and the bid was at $6500 but reserve was slightly higher, ive asked for people to make ofers over the phone because trade me fees so high for buy nows and reserve met ectectect . ( if that makes sense ) im a cheapo lol

from memory, about 45,000kms, new tyres needs new chain and sprockets (some time). It is not an absolute minter, but equally there is nothing really wrong with it that a little time and care wouldn't solve. I just don't have the time. if it stays, it will become a race bike.

yeh have been thinking about it today. still have to get a car also, so if I get car first thats no issue I can wait untill bike sells then start looking really hard, atm its what ever comes along first . vfr - vr4 - or b4 suby lol and then when bike sells it will buy the other . :D

That $7500 one is from a dealer. The dealers seem to ask rather high prices. I know dealers are a bit more usually, but 7500 when the going rate is more like 5000 for similar privately seems more than usually high.
