Great got your attention!

Just brought some "Buff headwear" to use as a helmet liner in order to absorb some perspiration that is expected over the next month or two.

If you have the same, how do you wear yours? I see you can wear it as a cap or alternatively as a "Sahariane". Both these look the most comfortable methods under a helmet for the sumer months.

Any other ideas?

Cheers

I have a "Buff" and about three others similar that came free with various purchases. Normally don't wear them in summer, only around the lower part of the face in cooler weather.

Whatever turns your crank...

Id normally pull the whole lot down over my face and then double it back over on top of my head. If their worn like a cap with the twist at the top I found the twist a bit uncomfortable with the helmet but might be different for you. Good job for the warm weather though and they dry out super quick aswell:niceone:

Used mine today. When I use it in "cap" mode I found just 1 rotation means that there is minimal bump to fit under the helmet. Was really good at soaking up the sweat. Might make the helmet last a bit longer as well.

I find just the oxford multifunctional bandana/face mask thingy does the job. No 'bump' and bloody good at keeping long hair out your eyes.

One thing about wearing any kind of headgear under a helmet, it'll stretch the helmet lining and the helmet will be loose thereafter.

So always wear your "Buff" then.

I do.

They are incredibly thin! :msn-wink:

In cooler weather I tie my hair back to the nape of my neck.. then pull the buff over my head so that it covers right to my fringe (like a balaclava) then just tuck the bottom of it under so that it sits jus above my nose.. then also pull on my polarfleece neck warmer.. bloody brilliant! jus having that layer over ya head, makes such a difference! :2thumbsup

added a pic..
