;) thanks for the tip :Police:

Actually I have seen a bit on this bike before.
I think it was the builder of the bike who did a bit of a Demo on it in a car park and never realised how far it actually traveled in 1 second.....
Sadly he wasn't wearing the proper gear..... BUT very luckily he wasn't injured too badly....

Think it was on youtube?

But nobody else will either, and surely that can't be a good thing?

And I love they way they talk about it being emissions free and illustrate the article with a picture of it doing a burnout.....hmmmmm, no emissions there at all! Just a little irony that tickled my fancy.

Is there actually emissions from a burnout.....what would you need to do to become carbon neutral from that???? :girlfight:

Well I would think so - if not gaseous, then particulate. But then I'm not an air quality boffin, so don't shoot me if I'm wrong. Just an amateur greenie ;)

To be carbon neutral, I'd say you'd have to plant some vegies or do some composting before you suited up to ride  Now there's an idea..... ...making your own bio-fuel :blank:

I have a rubber plant in my living room for such occasions ;)

...and with no helmet, gloves, or protective gear. Oh well, it is his right to wear what he likes.

Not to mention the emissions from the factory that made the batteries, or what happens to them once they've done their dash.

I've been following progress on the electric bikes / dragsters for a while. While you can get a lot of instantaneous power from small batteries there isn't the distance capability the larger car cell batteries have. It will be interesting to see how these develop over the next few years and which major bike manufacturers get on board.

Anyone for an electric Ducati?

Hush your mouth! :spanking:

The bike's makers claim that the G-force which the rider has to contend with is three times more than that faced by a skydiver during freefall.

As far as I'm aware a skykydiver accelerates at a very comfortable 1G, experiencing no disernable 'force' acting on their bodies

Yup, sounds good though....
So they are really saying it has 3G's of acceleration... Not really a lot to be honest. I thought the Top Fuel cages had 8G initially, but then they run Sub 4's.

No vehicle is totally noise free. Tyres on the road do make a noise and many modern cars make more road noise than engine noise...
