Hey guys
a friend of mine recommended i join up :Punk:
i own a 2001 Suzuki DR-250 Trail Bike
so far it has given me 3 years of fun and scares ( you would think one would be able to tame a 250cc bike after this time but it still manages to scare the ever living puss out of me when it wants to :D )
its main use has been as a farm bike but lately i have discovered that there are many trail rides in my area and have started going to these - now that the bike has a new cause it will most likely see a lot more work and abuse so im currently spending a decent chunk of change making sure it will last me as id rather have an old reliable bike that wont pack up rather than break this one and have to get another one as i simply cant afford to do that
the photo's are old and dirty (yes its MUCH cleaner these days  but not much has changed except now the seat shit about 3-5 inches higher than factory as last year the Rear Shock absorber failed and a replacement one i was quoted for between $800-$1250 from the local bike shops
then we realized that the rear shock from our Yamaha Grizzly 400 Quad bolted right in its place perfect! so its now running a $50 Yamaha shock instead of a ridiculously expensive Suzuki part (honestly who would pay that?)
Cheers guys :D
