I mean - are their radiators any good? The business itself seems to enjoy a good reputation.

I need a new radiator (or end cap) on the VS. $540 x Holden!!! F.O. on TM and found several people selling new for less than half that. Then found out that these are probably Chinese knock offs. If they are ok, I don't care. But if it's likely to shit itself anytime soon I'd rather spend the extra for genuine.

$540 from the Holden Dealer? Have you tried a Holden wrecker? (FHM in Te Atatu I always found reasonable.
From memory, VN/VP/VR will all fit VS. Maybe not VN/VP, but certainly VR.

I wouldn't spend good money on a secondhand radiator. Especially not one with plastic tanks.

Should come with a warranty I'd think, minimum 3 months.Sussed out any recore radiators? We blew top tank in our Accord and replaced the top tank for $390 installed from a radiator place in Palmy.

Dunno about country of origin, but complete radiators have been around the same price as a tank replacement on certain models for a few years. As one radiator repairer taold me a few years ago - the manufacturers don't want to sell tanks, they want to sell complete units,so they charge heaps for the tanks.Making a tank from alloy cost about the same,so no real advantage.Pastic top tanks last about 10 years, depending on use,an alloy core will outlast the tank. You going to keep it for more than 10 years?

I bought a radiator for my old EF fairmont gear from them,
it was hell cheap compared to anywhere else. I asked how come they can sell em so cheap, because they buy in bulk.
I would definately recommend silverdale radiators.
Ours went on the night before we where shifting house just as i was getting home from hospital (my boy was in for an astma attack).
they opened up on a sunday so i could pick it up.....
Also my Mechanic mates use them to.

I rang George at SR...
He assured me his radiators are Taiwanese, not Chinese, and are '10x' better. 2 year guarantee. Apparently sold over 400 Holden ones without a single return.
Good enough for me. And just in time to catch the afternoon courier...hope it arrives today.
