No one has asked if the brakes work OK, or whether its been thrashed.

Guess we will never know.

Would have been better to start a new TM account rather than try and sell a bike where the only trade done resulted in a negative feedback.....

As hitcher has found, das ist verboten!

What you mean two TM accounts?
No it isn't, if one is for yourself, and the other is for your partner/ flatmate/ son/ daughter.... Must be a real person though, can't be the dog!

All you have to do is tell TM what is going on, and then NEVER bid on each others auctions.

Posts a pic of GSXR1100 with a kid on it, and then a whole lot of cellphone pics of a GSXR1000 doing stunts... thats really legit.

The honda seems legit but the guy is a real dropkick

aside from the obvious negative connotations, what exactly is a "skidmark sale" ?

You get that sometimes, from the ignorant.
One (nekkid) bike I had, a potential (and obviously ignorant) buyer said, "Uh, nah - I was looking for a bike with flarings and like that there."

A Skidmark sale is a dirty slippery sale where you could end up in the crap If you dont do all the security checks:lol:

Search the members list for skidmark & have a look at a few of his threads. Bit of a legend 'round here really. :shifty:

I reckon this is more likely to be a moron few bike though. Hang on a minute - the questions below show the the auction was done by the owner's girlfriend - none of them would have girlfriends!

Good advise to do it for ANY bike purchased from anything other than a licenced dealer (or me).

Re the second auction. "Cannot be bothered getting a WOF" = No chance of getting a WOF.

Seriously - how many people are willing to drop the price simply because they cannot be bothered to get a WOF done?

looking at the way the odo readings read I would say a number got left out when that appears to have been wound back.

would be more concerned about him saying that he doesnt know what it needs for a warrent after it has failed one

I think cowboyz is right. Looks like odometer was put in the 'system' wrong. missing 5th digit.
Maybe the 2nd plate is personalized plate?. FINGS
Failed warrant inspection. He must have details or able to get a copy of it.

sorry but this is honestly the 10th time this year I have had someone say "ooooooh looks dodgy, speedo's been wound back" sorry but its a free site that is very unreliable. people need to stop and think, hmm 48,000 49,000 5,000 51,000 fuck they did alot of kms after that 5000 km wind back.

sorry rant done, but so many people point this out.

Q what was the reasons they gave on the warrent sheet on the 17th dec 08 that it failed a warrent? posted by: cowboyz (210 ) 5:21 pm, Tue 6 Jan
A Guy was looking at buying it before x mas, told me it needed jobs done for warrant, but didnt show me sheet. then offered me $4000for it, i told him that i would rather relist and give everybody a go at if thats the case. 6:27 pm, Tue 6 Jan
Seller Comment: I am going to run through VTNZ WOF testing station tomorow and post on net. 6:29 pm, Tue 6 Jan

It took him over an hour to come up with that answer. At least that puts your mind at rest

 Sorry guys and Sorry SkidMark. Everyone I wasnt trying to be funny about Skidmark. I used the word (skid mark) as I put it in my earler post.

I did not mean for any reason for any to asume Skidmark is involved with either of these two bikes. He is trying to sell another bike on here. If you think I did it on purpose I am sorry mate but I didnt.
 I have PMed you.

Speedo era could be simple as a 0 missing i.e 50500km but put in computer as 5050km,could be a fault by computer entry person(female)or owner omitting a digit, but if the owner did leave a digit out,it shows how observant the testing officer was with checking basic details on the sheet.

I did that once with a work van at the mot station, had it as 25700km instead of 257008km,the testing officer picked it up.
