Some would call me a bit of a hoarder, I buy things with the intention of doing things up, but never get round to it, and just never want to part with them, always thinking one day but that day never comes, and all the while adding, as some would say more junk to the pile, till it gets to the point where now, I cannot get in to my garage.

So to start the New Year off i,m having a big clean out.

Yeh looks about right ment to be a good copy my pw80 is missing a few bits as in foot pegs and rear brake pedal etc could be keen to have a look at it. Ill be down your way on saturday afternoon after the gncc if it possible to call round and check it out. What sorta $$ you want for it.

I'm heading out there at around 3:30pm to pick up the DR so could throw it on the back of the trailer for you if you like. You could then pick it up on your way home from work tonight.

How much for the ktm?

I,m thinking $200

what happened is it broke a clutch spring, I got a replacement, fitted it, but had not locked up the large Nut on the end of the crankshaft that held the clutch housing in.
This nut came lose and hit the side cover, cracked it and cross threaded the end of the shaft, which is a left hand thread, was going to pull the crankshaft out, I'm sure an engineering shop could fix it.
only need that and the clutch spring and I think I got one some where and it can go back together

all I can say its a project for anyone mechanical, or maybe parts for someone, I used it to go to work for about a year, that was about 6 years ago, imagine a 97kg oldguy on that little bike:rofl: then the kids thrashed it around the farm, for a wee while, its been sitting in me shed about 4 years never been touched till today.

whats wrong with the dt mate?? I reckon its only good for parts, you could probably get it going.
Its the little things just trying to figure out why it wont start, could be simple could be a biggie, would only be good as a beach or farm hack. I brought it on trademe it looked good in the pic, so I brought it, boy was i disappointed when I went to pic it up, that was a waste of $500.

It was going, just didn't look like the picture. had a good run out of it thou.
