Apolgies for the question like post...but I wanted to get your juices flowing...;)

There are a fair few couples posting on KB and I'm interested to hear your varying perspectives about how you might for instance; - Differ in your usage and the reasons you log in? Cope with each others online personas? (spare a thought for poor Sully now) Do you get along with the same people or not and if not is that an issue? How much do you share? Do you agree with each others stances on issues? Do the threads spill over into your conversations? and the all important one....the major issue of having to share (if you are like us and have only pc in the house) and how that goes

Yes, I know darling I'm the worst

SO peeps...How does it add/ or whatever to your relationship...HELL Does it even? Is this only YOUR place to play or do you both get on. I was giggling before about how Sully and I get all silly on it with hiding our posts from each other and then all cheeky like saying OK go look NOW, go on log on :msn-wink: it has definitely added something fun for us.

Then there is the other less fun side. How do you manage your KB addiction? Sometimes one of you will have a conversation going on or be interested in a particular thread or have made some good friends which you catch up with via the social groups but the other wants some quality time dammit :bash:  again yes I know I am the worst darling

When I joined up to this place I saw it as a bit of a joke and didn't think my short attention span would keep me coming back anyway....I was wrong.

This shit is fun and frustrating and funny and good and bad and abusive and REAL and it does have impact on our REAL lives....!YUP I said it *shudder*)...so hows it work for you in your relationship?

Thank you come again! :woohoo:

But I did see something funny a few days ago, A couple quoted each other within minuets of posting, from the same pc '' look what I just said'' ''ok, let me on and I will quote you, nobody will notice''....:2thumbsup

Do you get along with the same people or not and if not is that an issue?

Mostly, except when someone's being spaded on.

How much do you share?

An uncomfortably detailed excess.

Do you agree with each others stances on issues?

Don't be ridiculous.

the major issue of having to share

We don't share well, so we don't. I have a laptop on wireless and he uses the PC. The occasional conversation about stuff. He doesn't tend to go into anything much in R and R, unless I point it out to him so often we travel in different "circles" of KB. He has issue with the way some people post and I with others, we have been known to bling the same post...... him red and me green (I don't give red unless it's really well deserved!), which always cracks me up. We often still talk to each other face to face, isn't that nice.

Yeah, why consume precious oxygen when you can use up bandwidth instead?

I'm the moderate monster in our household, I'm also quite a backseat poster. I've seen some of the things #1 has been typing and on a few occasions asked "are you really going to post that?"

My perception of other members has also changed based on how they've reacted to to some of my wife's posts. I'd say there's some about that are a little uncomfortable with the stronger female personality types, shame really they don't know what they're missing out on.:devil2: Or maybe they do.

It would be quite funny to setup a timelapse camera when we're both having a KB Online Funday(tm) watching the tatics of hovering, distraction and subterfuge that are all employed to shift the occupier of 'the seat'.

MsKABC

He hasn't been on KB much lately, too busy with other stuff like fixing my new bike up  He often asks for a rundown of what's happening and I show him threads he might be interested in. These days when he does get on the 'puter it is to play games. Because I'm a stay at home Mum I get to be on the computer often during the day, so I don't mind too much if he has it most of the evening. If he does post on here, it is usually in the more technical threads, so we wouldn't normally be posting in the same threads. I like the fluffier ones. He's much thicker skinned than me, so he doesn't take things personally and doesn't get wound up about anything on here. He also belongs to the redneck "just shoot the criminals and losers and to hell with compassion" brigade, whereas I tend to have a little more humanity :Pokey:

When he does post, he'll ask me how to spell a word, so I'll tell him. If I'm not sure, I'll say so but generally I'm a good speller. But he still doubts me and says "It doesn't look right" so I get pi$$ed off and he wonders why I tell him to bugger off the next time he asks me :bash:

As far as addiction goes, it waxes and wanes. I used to spend a lot of time on another (completely different) forum, but I got really sick of the :girlfight: and it was getting a bit  boring too. At least on KB if it gets :girlfight: then it's usually funny.

Hubby would be much less inclined to post anything remotely personal on here. It's funny because he could never understand why I enjoyed being part of an online community (with my other forum) until he joined up here. Now he totally gets it.

I'm the moderate monster in our household, I'm also quite a backseat poster. I've seen some of the things #1 has been typing and on a few occasions asked "are you really going to post that?"

I'd like to point out that there has been at least two times where he has said this and I have thought not to post that particular comment...sometimes though I change my mind after he's wandered off and do it anyway or I might reword things to take an edge off but essentially I say pretty much what I want when I want...much like real life really though in real life I am slightly less crass :shifty:

I'd say there's some about that are a little uncomfortable with the stronger female personality types, shame really they don't know what they're missing out on.:devil2:

Some of those people shaped the #1 persona you see on here now people  I tend to do whatever is the opposite of what others want at times...meh I'm a shit stirrer what can I say! :done:

We don't always agree, but hey, that makes the relationship fun. The only part of KB that spills over into real life is stuff that's happened in real life, which is posted about on KB. An example of which would be the fatalities shown on the news.

lol... well Indy got me into KB... however, we don't tend to have many issues on the pc... we each know our turns and usually relinquish the pc to the other once we've had a good few hours or so...

our work schedules help with this seeming as we both get home at different times and i have a split shift so have a break in the middle of the day then come home a good two hours after him usually.

as for online personas, Indy's mainly the same online as he is in person! Oddly enough, we met online and hence I knew the online version first. Shortly after though, we met in person and I was like "hey he's not that different, yay!" and we are now living happily ever after.

Social events are usually something we both appear at together (KB ones) and we have a lot of the same friends on KB...

So all in all I'd say we're in harmony with eachother and our KB adictions.

end essay.

Isn't nice to have a forum where you can trust your husband/wife when thay are chatting to a memeber of the opposite sex without even thinking about it.
When hubby/wife can look at x rated pic togeather and laugh.
Where riding mates can flirt with each other in fun and its known that it is just that . Fun
We have a very special forum, one that can enhance relationships, not destroy them as is often the case on other forums.
Here we can meet the people we converse with, and our partners meet them as well.
"I'm just going down the pub for a few beers with me mates"
An old line that once was the suspision riser in relationships.
"Im just going for a ride with a few KBers"
" Say hello from me love"

Thats the difference

We are a community that so different from many other online communities.

Relationships can survive it!

Well I can actually do both those moves but I'm assuming since I am clearly bigger than the SLAPEE you are comparing me to Valerie and her to the rubber band child.

I won't take that how I might so you won't get a SLAP...this time :oi-grr:

Who is totally awesome, I might add. A fine figure of a woman. I should damn well hope you weren't offended at being implicitly compared to an Olympic gold medallist.
