Do you ever end up in the following situation? Your significant other nags you for weeks and months about fixing this or that widget or doing this or that, and when you finally get around to doing it the SO acts surprised that you decided to pick this time and asks you a questions like: Why are you doing that NOW?"
I think they should be happy that you are finally doing what they asked you to do all this time. Could it be that they are dissapointed that they will be left with one less thing to nag about after your work is done?
