that was 15 hours straight riding on a moped with a top speed of 55kph

good on ya mate. there's a lot of naysayers and fun police that diss on you, but you're out there doing it, learning and experiencing. you probably did more k's in 1 trip on that jog in a few days than some wankoff fun police do in a summer.

A very good video there Carver.

Alright first of all, you are crazy/ brave having done that trip. Also secondly whoever the camera man was, they have some very good skills on video photography (or whatever thats called).

Also the part when you say infront of the camera, you didn't really say "Umm..." or any sign of hesitation, which is excellent.

I havn't really seen a bikers video like this since the Long Way Down/Round. I actually watched the whole video and I enjoyed all of it. You have my kudos.

I havn't yet checked the one on the Google Video however little more speaking would have been really entertaining. Very nicely done :niceone:

Frankly speaking, how did you feel when you over took the DL and the other bike on the gravels? haha

P.S. When you are going to do another adventure like that let me know, It wont be much but I will sponsor you with some fuel money. An epic video.

passing the vstrom was a laugh, the scooter was real good on the gravel.
there is no camera man, just me, with the atc3k on the side of my helmet, and people i asked to film me, morcs did the bridge stuff, some randoms did the beach and stream stuff...
i wanted to make a vid for you guys, you are my biggest fans

Was it toldlessly boring riding the Jog on the highway?
Isn't it illegal to ride on the motorway / Harbour Bridge if you can't do 100km/h?
Didja fall off or get stuck on 90-Mile Beach?
Has your arse recovered?
How much fuel did you use?

Y'know, I sometimes think that you're a [insert name here], but I take my hat off to you for embarking on an epic adventure like this. Well done! :niceone:
It's what biking's all about, innit?

I laughed when you passed those guys on bikes - they obviously hadn't twigged that the best way to ride on that road is to keep your speed up. I went up there with the vifferbabe on the back of the VFR, and soon worked that one out. Even dragged off one of those quad racers (must've been a noob).

I was tempted to ride all the way down the path to the lighthouse - it was earlyish in the day, and there was no-one much around to tell us off, and it was quite a hike back up the hill carrying all our gear.

yeah, it was
the cops said sweet if i stayed in the slow lane
it was funny, i was going full tilt on the jog
i fell off on the way back down 90 mile beach, it was high tide, the scooter sat at 15-25kph for 2 hours, the slime the sea deposits is super slippery.
my arse was prepared by the "scooter culture" video.
seriously, yes, it did hurt after 2 hours.
to get there i used about 30 litres at a guess.

If you were to market that right - you could turn it into an annual event like the postie challenge in Aust. I reckon it could attract quite a following.

Love the music too! And like everyone else laughed when you passed those bikes.

it sat at 50kph, but if you let it drop below 45kph, it would go all the way down to 25kph.
the downhills were silly, full throttle just throwing it into the bends!

then shook my hand

and called me a local of the hillbilly clan
now aint that grand!

cause a label like that is sure to stick like clay

but dont you worry,
i aint too afussed

i can spit with the best
and i can sure cuss

so here is to you carver

Having ridden the road and I know how amazing the scenery is whats to say that the two bikes he passed were not enjoying the scenery instead of going as fast as they possibly can?
