Hi Everyone,

I am going to import a few items of clothing direct from the manufacturer in Pakistan...they supply good quality leather motorcycle clothing to the UK, Italy, and the USA.

I have a reference from their UK source which is very encouraging. I know most of us are worried about quality, or losing our money, but with a pre-shipping inspection and a L/C from the bank we should be alright.

A few of you (about 25 odd) have already expressed interest in their products, I am currently working out total prices to NZ incl shipping, gst, duty, bank charges, etc so I can give you a final price on their items.

I have scanned the catalogue I received and hopefully it is posted below.

I am planning to meet with all the Auckland KB's who are keen and can make it, sometime early next week to answer any other questions and arrange a few orders etc. Any newbies are welcome to check out the last thread (BRAND NEW Leathers) for more info or you can PM if you have some questions.

I am pretty frantically busy at work tonight and tomorrow morning so please forgive me if any reply is a little slow.

Having done a quick price calc (I know your all keen to get the final prices), (all leathers prices) 1-piece suits look to be approx NZD$295, and 2-piece approx NZD$335, Jackets approx NZD$185, Pants approx NZD$175, and boots approx NZD$160. All depending on exchange rate and how much we order (shipping costs). Price shouldn't change too much at all.

Still working on details of payment but at this stage I am hoping (once we've met and everyone is happy) to get a small deposit to secure colours and sizings and then I will put the money up front (still to be approved by my bank manger :) ) when the order comes through you can see the leathers and pay the rest or if your not satisfied you don't have to buy. This way there is minimal risk for you and if you don't go through with it, I am at least left with a product to sell on?

Textile prices are cheaper but haven't priced any of that yet. Hopefully in the next 2 days I can put together a couple of pages in Word, of all the prices for the various products.

If I've forgotten anything, or you want more details just ask...

Oops...sorry guys, I just realised I worked out duty based on the Euro prices, not NZD prices. Real sorry about it :(

1-Piece price doesn't change.
All other prices +$15

So I suppose its good news if you want a 1-piece. Otherwise its merely annoying.

Cheers

I just this very instant got an email from Belpak stating that they have just got into an agreement with Thomas Cook Clothing Australia in regards to their boots in the catalogue.

Thomas Cook now have exclusive rights to the boots in the catalogue for Aussie and NZ and have put up USD$0.5Million for the it and for brand new injection moulding machines.

As such, boots can now no longer be offered to us. DARN IT :angry2:

We need to hurry the order up a little otherwise we are going to be pipped at the post and then we all have to pay retail!!! ARRRGGGGHHHH

If and when your ready just send me a PM with sizings and colours and product numbers.

They offer Black , Red, Blue, Yellow, Kawasaki Green, Grey , Silver and White combination

Hope to hear from you soon.

You are a legend man! So its just those in the catalogue you scanned, can we choose from any of the models? I would like to get a one piece suit with the armours and sliders. Not sure of what size i would be though? I'm thin, weight about 60kg and am about 175cm tall. Maybe someone can suggest what size I would be when we meet early next week?

Depending on interest and how this order goes (number of hiccups etc) I may get another order in...

Belpak also charge extra for CE armour and knee sliders

1 and 2 Piece armour: CE armour in elbows, shoulders, and knees; non-CE in back and thighs

Jacket armour: CE armour in elbows and shoulders

Total extra price for armour + knee sliders: 1 and 2 Piece (EUR$12 +EUR$2) = NZD$25

Total extra price for armour Jackets (EUR$8) = NZD$15

Don't forget order will take 4 weeks to arrive once placed.

Please also be clear on model number you want and colours. Better to over-clarify it than for no-one to be sure what you really want. Please specify if you want armours and/or knee sliders and colour of knee sliders.

There is also 1 other 1-piece suit available that isn't in the catalogue...refer to http://www.belpak.com.pk Model B-4048

I am hoping to have all the orders by middle of next week...

I'm going to need a deposit to secure sizes and colours of say $50. Then I will foot the cost of the initial order (with the permission of the bank manager - meeting on Mon). When it arrives you pay the balance...still undecided on this, bank manager may think differently, will confirm on Mon

Yep, as stated in the catalogue, they are available in all colours and sizes (mentioned page 2 just under the page #).

B-1120 could come in black with the Kwaka green (instead of the red), or yellow instead of red, or blue, etc...with or without green knee sliders etc.

I would like to get 1x the B1122 with all the armours and knee sliders. So that will be $320 + shipping right?

What would the silver and white colour combination look like for B1122? Also, I take it all the one piece suits are the same quality, the only difference is the style?

I'm unsure of the size though, I'm thinking ill be a medium though? I'm 175cm tall, weigh 60kg and have a small build. Any body with similar dimensions?

Thanks

Do any of the senior members know him? Where he lives (if he lives in NZ at all).
Lets face it 50 x $50 is not a bad little scam eh.
I'd hate to see 50 fellow members ripped off.
I'm sorry Wildcat, this is by no means a personal attack, maybe if you could make yourself known to one of our respected members.
Sorry if I've missed something and he is known and trusted.

Hey SuperDave,

$320 would be shipped to NZ, so unless you want them couriered around NZ...to say Stuart Island :) then that should be the final price. And yep that would include CE armour and knee sliders.

To be honest I'm not really sure what the silver/white combination would look like, you could have a play around with colours on a computer package like Adobe photoshop or something I suppose? Black or Grey and white would look quite nice, I believe the silver might be a shiny almost metallic colour?

Sizing is always difficult...if you know what size (or can go to a shop and try several sizes) then you can order in UK or EUR sizing (ie like Teknic size their gear 40/50). Just make sure you make it clear which sizing it is, don't want to order a UK40 when it should have been a EUR40 :)

Same quality, but the 2-piece suits are just more time consuming to make etc and so are more expensive...plus there is no import duty on the 1-piece.

Hope this helps.

Hey gav,

Yeah its EUR$2 extra for knee sliders on a suit, but they want EUR$5 (NZD$10) if your buying them seperately...go figure :) It seems even half-way across the world manufacturers/sellers are still the same, cheaper when buying sets, more if seperate.

Sorry to disappoint, althougth I suppose $10 each is still pretty good :)

Hey Chris,

yeah I was wondering if this would come up again, if you want you can read the previous thread (BRAND NEW Leathers) and see what was said there...or you could PM TonyB (who also asked last time, and we have been in communication since then sorting out details)...

But wait there's more...: I am planning/hoping to meet with the AKL KB's early next week (Tues I think suits best) and iron out any questions/fears/etc the usual. One of the KB's has offered his place for about 20ish people (just a couple of mins north of the bridge). I will confirm hopefully with him tomorrow and will post on the site.

I'm not trying to scam anyone (for peace of mind PM TonyB) and am just looking to get a set for me and bring the shipping costs down by getting a group together, that way we all save.

Hope to see you Tues night,

Cheers,

TonyB

I had the same concerns originally, but though I haven't met wildcat, I believe he is genuine. As my wife works for a clothing importer and she and her workmates have a vast amount of knowledge about this sort of thing, I have offering wilcat some advice. We have been communicating via email and I am convinced that his intentions are completely honest. I have seen the references he received (they are very positive) and wildcat has been keeping me informed of what he is doing, asking for advice etc. He has already put in a huge amount of work to get to this stage, and has a lot more to do yet, but he is not asking for any compensation. The Auckland members will have the chance to meet him for themselves on Tuesday.

You have to appreciate that wildcat is taking a risk here too, if the leathers are of a poor standard he is going to be stuck with them, that is one of the reasons why he is looking at having them quality checked by an independant company before they are shipped. The LC is another safety check. But at the end of the day the references he recieved are the best indication that it will all go well. My advice to wildcat is that he doesn't even open the shipment without well known members there with him, then he can't be accused of foul play if it all goes pear shaped despite his best efforts...

My advice to wildcat at the moment is that he needs to leave himself the oppertunity to set himself up as the NZ distributor for these leathers after this initial order. If the quality is good, then more people will want them. It would be ridiculous to expect him to keep putting in all this effort and not get some compensation. But at this stage all he wants to do is help out a few KBers by helping you get leathers at cost.

And thats another risk, we need to get this underway before someone else dicovers it and sets themselves up as the NZ distributor. It's already happened with the boots... so lets get on with it!

Cheers
Tony

Yeah the gloves are availabe too...

They aren't quite as good a deal I didn't think as the suits and jackets etc. With shipping, gst, duty etc. They work out at between NZD$80 and NZD$85 for the professional gloves (NZD$80 for B-9080 NZD$85 for B-9027) and between NZD$70 (B-8050, B-8034, B-9026) and NZD$75 (B8066, B-8040) for the sports gloves.

Let me know what your after, and I'll put it on the list.

With or without art work makes alot of difference, so depends if you want the artwork as well...Personally I quite like B-1159, it has a bit of cow-hide on the shoulders too, best of both worlds

Anyway, B-1165 with artwork is approx NZD$170, without artwork NZD$140
B-1163 NZD$145. Plus armour.

Pants are both approx NZD$145 and I don't think they get armour. Merely padded from what I understand.

Cheers, hope to see you tonight.

Are the cordura jackets (B1165 & B1163)/ pants (B1167 & B1166) the same price as the leather ones? or are they priced $185 for jacket and $175 for pants (+15 each)..?

Bugjuice, I am picking up my NEW bike at 6:30, if I can make it by then I will try. It is Cyclespot at 7:30 isn't it?

I told the guys I would post a few more details, if you want to get hold of me rather than by PM, send me an email at:
lfle012@ec.auckland.ac.nz
lg_fletcher@hotmail.com

Please put your username in the Subject somewhere, or make it obvious that its about the leathers, otherwise I might think its spam and delete it!

I have attached (hopefully) the quick list I have done up for the pricing of items, I haven't done them all because it took longer than I thought, plus who really wants waterproof gloves?

Anyway, to make things easy for me, the prices I have quoted you are rounded from the pricelist attached, I can't be bothered figuring out payments of NZD$199.28, so its been rounded to NZD$200 etc.

Hope to get a few more definate details regarding sizing (I know its always tricky with leathers) tonight, will keep you posted.

I will get around to PM those I don't have other contact details, for confirming your order and sending my details and getting yours.

Cheers
Leighton

Oops...sorry guys, I just realised I worked out duty based on the Euro prices, not NZD prices. Real sorry about it :(

1-Piece price doesn't change.
All other prices +$15

So I suppose its good news if you want a 1-piece. Otherwise its merely annoying.

Cheers

The latest price list that you have attached, does it include the increase of $15.00 ? or do I have to add $15.00 the the current pricing?

Cordura Jackets (B- 1159) that want ARMOUR, will cost is $15.00 each right?

Cordura pants (B-1167) that want armour / knee sliders, is that possible?

Is there an extra charge for "waterproofing" the cordura?

I am looking at 2 x 2 piece suits, 2 x cordura jackets, 2 x cordura pants.. will send you an email tomorrow, after I visit some accessory shops and get sizes.

wildcat_lgf
23rd February 2005, 05:32
Hey Feint,

The pricelist has the NZD$15 already added to it, the only extra charge is for armours and knee sliders. Armour and knee sliders for 1 or 2 piece NZD$25 extra, Armour for Jackets NZD$15

The pants B-1166 or B-1167 can't take knee sliders. They come standard as waterproof I believe.

However its the jacket B-1159 that you can order either non-waterproof or waterproof. For B-1159 NZD$185 with waterproofing, or NZD$170 without (rounded from $166.58 because thats too much hassle to figure out down to the last cent).

Cheers, hope that helps,
Leighton

Ok everyone,

Due to popular demand from people at the meeting last night, I have attached a sizing chart just received from Belpak this morning...

Note also B-4048 did have 2 zippers, one on each side closing down to the waist, but this was not popular so they have changed the zipper to one down the front like all their other suits.

I just had a look at the sizing chart and I think a few people may want to change their size...I believe the measurements are the actual leathers measurements ie the waist of the jacket not your waist.

Hope this helps some and gives a better indication of sizing. I thought I was a medium, but I could be down to an XS...will have to bust out the tape measure :)

I have just had a measure up...and have emailed Belpak again to check the sizings...A size 36/46 shouldn't be 106 chest seeing as 36" is only about 92cm! Will keep you up-to-date...Don't panic, please wait till I confirm from them about sizing, before changing anything...

Cheers,
Leighton

EDIT I have just taken the sizing chart off, so I don't get heaps of emails of questions...once I have verified the details of sizing with Belpak, I will post it up again...sorry for the hassle

???? Not sure what your asking...however B-4048 has been quite popular for 1-piece suits, it seems to have a reasonable amount of padding over and above the CE armour...plus its just plain CLASSY in black/grey! There isn't a price for it on the pricelist as its not in the catalogue go to
http://www.belpak.com.pk/products_pages/motorbike_suits/02.html

Price is same as other 1-piece $295 + armour

Hope this helps

Any ETA on the size chart?

wildcat_lgf
24th February 2005, 17:48
Yeah I'm going to ring them tonight since I didn't hear from them last night...

EDIT.....

I have just this instant hung up the phone after speaking with Belpak...he assures me the sizing chart he gave me is basically useless to us :) The sizing chart is of the material lengths prior to making up the jacket/pants/suit hence it doesn't help us at all.

However he said the sizings they use is an international standard approved (ISO creditation of some sort) and is approved sizing in the UK, Australia, US, Europe, etc.

This means, we can use the Beconi sizes from their website (link given before) and also Fieldsheer sizings (cause they make Fieldsheer) and they will be the same sizings. I can still post the sizings chart from Belpak if anyone wants, but just bear in mind that it is raw materials sizings, NOT finished product sizings!

So check your sizings at:
http://www.beconi.com/sizes.htm
OR
http://www.factoryteam2racing.com/size.asp (scroll down until you get to Fieldsheer Sizing)

This will hopefully mean everyone can size themselves up! So once again, you should be able to use your UK/EUR sizing (ie 40/50) also (seeing as its an international standard) and be FAIRLY confident the size will be about right.

Any other questions, just ask...

I'll confirm orders shortly,
Leighton

Hey Guys, sorry if I've been a bit absent from this thread for awhile, I figured everyone had said all they wanted too...I emailed everyone with the details I had, so everyone should have heard from me a couple of weeks back about the 20% due to being a custom order...

Yeah order is going ahead fine, manufacturer has taken our order and is in the process of getting them ready for us...due to be shipped at the end of the first week of May. Bank is happy and has fixed the Letter of Credit too which is a relief, although it means I am poor for about 6 weeks :(

I have checked up on Duty, gst, etc and that was already included in the prices I quoted everyone. 14% duty not 32% and not payable on 1-piece suits (I think it was covered in the previous thread).

So all we need to do now is sit back and relax and hope the time passes quickly from now until the leathers come in.

Thats right, come one come all...the leathers have hit our shores.

I am doing the customs work today and they tell me I should be able to pick them up tomorrow afternoon...So I suppose that just leaves a few things like how to pick them up, postage etc.

To those outside AKL I will have to post them, do you want them registered post or just normal postage? Don't know the cost of postage as yet as I don't know how heavy they are. Once I pick them up I will sort out which is going where, then we can organise payment and postage and Bob's your Uncle, you'll be going 2x as fast as before.

I'll send out an email later today...but I've heard there is a Trackday at Taupo so if those who urgently want them for that we shall try and work something out...

Would you be able to let me know what size the Jacket on Page 2 of the catalog item number: B-1153 (B) - The totally black one come in, and also a price if possible.

Thanks :)

Hi, they come in sizes XS-XXL I believe. Because we did a custom order we could ask for any size and colour choice.

I will probably do another order in the next month or so, depending how this one goes and depends on interest.

From memory the price works out around $240ish (don't have the exact price with me, its at home).

I ordered a couple of extra items which I will make available once everything elso has been accounted for...

Cheers

What has the final prices for all of the suits ended up at? Or are they the same as on the first page?

Hey Paul, yeah it looks like it, B-4048 is only listed on the website so its a little difficult to tell from that.

I went and paid all the duty and gst today...the bank manager will be pleased when the account starts to go up again thats for sure :)

Have to get the documents signed by the bank tomorrow, then pick them up in the afternoon...suppose we shall see then how it all fits together!

Prices came out (for those interested next time) at about NZD$450 for 2-piece suit, NZD$384 for 1 piece, NZD$258 for jacket, NZD$246 pants

Hey Gav, I picked them up this afternoon...8 big boxes later (came out on a pallet with forklift), lucky I took the trailer!

I am fully stoked with them, as far as I'm concerned the quality is great and my sizing is fine. They even come with 2 spare domes in case they break. Stitching looks great, and armour is all present...basically just like buying from a shop!

Devil came and picked his up this afternoon, so should get him to give an unbiased opinion, he found his Large a little small, and took a spare XL I had.

I'm really happy with them and have taken some photos so when everyones order is sorted I will post a few.

Best bet is to arrange a meeting in the evening next week for the AKL KB's or you can come and pick them up from my house (Howick way) in the afternoon's or eveings?

Or I could post them across town?
Or you could meet me in the city during the day (I'm in at Uni) and we could exchange some money for some leathers.

Email me is the best way to arrange a time, or txt

Ditto. But if possible have the next order no sooner than 2 or 3 months away. That gives us a chance to get some long term reviews on them.

Anyone planning on using theirs on the track? Would be good to know how they hold up in a slide (and I can feel less guilty about saying that if the person is sliding from a race bike down a track rather than road bike on road).

First perspective. They look really good. A bit arsed that the ones I ordered were a little too small :(

Maybe a guide for people ordering in the future, if you use the www.beconi.com size chart, look at the lowest size in the range they give you. eg. Large pants = 36" - 39". If you were a 38" i'd def go for the next size up (XL).

They look neat. Plenty of armour. The one piece I took home has a good shape too it, no saggy bits!

Great set of leathers, good quality and look real flash. I went for a short ride with mine this evening and to be honest I gotta admit that it was a bit strange. Possibly it's because I'm not used to it, but quite a different feel - quite tight around the back of the knees :S

Does anybody know how much wear leather suits need until they start to stretch and soften up a bit? Alternatively, is there any other way that I can speed this processing up?

Otherwise, great deal on some good quality gear. Thanks a lot Leighton, big ups to you for organising them, much appreciated. :2thumbsup

Will try them on at smoko to see how they are. If they don't fit, did you order a spare like mine in XL?
Yeh, the courier was bloody quick in the end. Pity about all the BS it took to get them to actually pick it up tho...

Will have a look, but am pretty sure I don't :( I only have 1 large Beconi 1piece; Devil's Black/Red 2-piece in Red...but I am under strict instructions not to sell that to a KBer so that Devil is the only one with his style when the 2nd order comes in :)

Tried them on- they are a perfect fit! Can't believe how comfy the pants are and how easy it is to move in them. The knees are even in the right place! There's plenty of length in the arms and the jacket is a snug fit, but I can still bend foward and reach out. The bloody thing could have been tailored to fit me. My biker workmate had a look and he can't believe how good the quality is for the price- he said "I never thought you'd get anything like that sort of quality. You can see they've really thought about the design"

For anyone considering getting in on the next order and wanting an idea of sizing- I got a large two piece. I'm 182 cm tall and weigh around 80kg. Chest measurement varies from 42 to 44 inch depending where it's taken.

A big thanks to Leighton for arranging this. :grouphug:

Yeah they will be alright, mine were tight as when I first got them. I couldn't even get on my bike without a hand to get my leg over first time I went for a ride in them. Now they fit pretty well, very comfy indeed, although I still think they may be a bit restrictive in the leg area.

Same with the leathers. Hadn't even thought of that. Might have to get a pocket put behind the zip on the inside of the jacket, so I can at least carry a wallet and cell phone.

The leather after a long long ride today was good. However, what annoyed me the most on the ride was the part behind the knees. I can't get the ball of my foot on the pegs. The leather behind would bunch up. Apart from that, it is great... until u wish to go to the toilet... :killingme :killingme

The cordura on closer ispection has 2 pockets.

The Arlen Ness jacket is quite hard and stiff. This is softer than that. Not as thick as the spidi I would say. The leathers are double stitched and pretty good, just the problem with the rear of the knees. There is no lining as well. :)

I got a set of gloves and I think they are GREAT! no complaints! Will have to try out the cordura if it rains! :)

Sorry I missed you yesterday, I was hoping to drop by on my way out and see you all...but you left early! I saw you all pulling out of the BP station on Chapel Rd about 9:20, saw a few leathers I recognised too :) What a splendid sight to behold :D

Hopefully with a bit of wearing in the leather will soften and won't be so tight behind the knees. I found that also the first time I wore mine, but after a few times it doesn't bother me so much and the armour should continue to mould a bit.

How is the fit Kit? Hope its all going well for you all.

Cheers, hoping to make it to a ride sometime (weather dependant) soon, preferably Sunday!

Cheers

5 times supermodel?!?!?!? baah!!! 7 more like :bleh:

bit (well very) tight in places when I first tried them on, but then I saw the zips, so I undid them, which made it easier. Still tight tho.. I didn't think I had big calfs, but they were an extra special effort to get them past the knee. Once in, a small contorsionist show, and some how, I'm almost the power ranger. Twisting the body round and up and down, then it just about gets over the shoulder and then a bit more of a twist and done. Tis real tight and snug. But, once on and zipped up, they're a pretty good fit all over. Just some slight restrictions in side movement, but I can life with that. When I first sat on the bike, and being the cardboard cutout I was, that was a mission, but some forceful movement, and I'm on and off. Riding was good, bit of a different feeling compared to cordura which I'm used to, but good tho.

Once out on the road for a while, they quickly eased up a bit. Didn't get my knee down (altho I have seen a small scratch which I'm sure wastn't there before) and the knee chaffing was a little sore, but no regrets at all. Once they break in, they'll be my buddy for good.. just has to scrub in a bit really (and not the road-rash scrub!!)

Thanks heaps again WC, you've done a top notch job..

Don't want to sound like a party pooper but, I used to deal in saddlery (horse gear) in the UK and leather from Pakistan was really inferior about 5 - 8 years ago. Has the quality improved since then?

I for one had limited expectations (still to see mine - bloody slooow bank and living in a remote place)

I'm not expecting a lifetimes wear from them, I just want them for (maybe) an occasional track day and for when I want to pretend I'm a leather clad god of speed... I'd never be able to justify the $1,000 for an ordinary set... The price I paid for these will allow tons to do any fix ups and shuff...

Cheers

In any case, I would rather prefer shit leather to no leather. This same comany makes the leathers for Beconi which is a top notch brand so would assume the leather is of the same high standard.

I can understand your concern for quality...I for one (and most of the others had that as their main concern). But Pakistan are in fact world-famous (although not well known) for making leather goods.

If you read through the threads you will find that Thomas Cook in Aussie have signed a deal with this company for USD$500,000 (or might have been more) just to supply their boots, so they are obviously happy with their quality. They also apparantly supply Fieldsheer leathers.

Pakistan also make most of the leather goods such as soccer balls, volleyballs, blah blah blah (irrelevant to m/c leathers but still proves a point) and also cricket gear for international firms.

You are welcome to come and have a look at some of them if you are interested in getting a set for the next order...

When is the next order? Got any spare from this order? (XL or larger)? Have these leathers got the upgraded ECU in the crotch? The one that gives the rider bigger balls? Thats the one I need :niceone:

Stoney, you need to devise an appendage relinquishment strategy for your current inaqeduate balls. Can you trade 'em in for said bigger ones? Will you donate them to science? Will you morph them together and have extra-extra big 'uns? Might need a Goldwing to accomodate such mass then though....

My other cousin Wozza was there too and he spied a one piece Beconi that he quite liked and has gone home to ask the wife/purse string holder how much she values his life.
LOL, what a line! I would never stoop to such blatant emotional minipulation *cough* (yeh right!)

Not all teknic gear is made in pakistan.

Just bought a leather jacket from US and its made in Phillipines. Looks really amazing and seems to be quite protective. Paid around 250 NZD delivered to my door....

How much were these jackets from Pakistan..? a rough estimate for a leather jacket.?

Come on people- give this man some rep! Why has he only got one little green dot? Wildcat has done a huge amount of work to get this order in.
He made the initial contact with Bel
He had to investigate the likely tarrifs etc with customs.
He had to get references from Bels customers, and compare them against references for other potential suppliers.
He had to constantly relay our questions to Bel, which must have involved dozens of emails
He had to gather, check and recheck your orders.
Then send us all PM's and emails to confirm them.
Then he had to go cap in hand to the bank manager for a personal loan because.....
He had to carry the cost of the leathers until they got into NZ.
He had to chase everyone up for their deposit, then ensure that the deposits matched the orders he had (and I bet a few 'orders' disappeared at this point, making life difficult)
He had to break the bad news to us all of the increase due to the misunderstanding of the wording 'custom order'. And he even carried 5% of the increase!
Then when they did arrive, he had to go to the freigt company/ customs broker to pay the duty and freight.
Then the next day he had to go and pick them up with a trailer, take them home, and start the huge task of sorting through the orders.
He had to endure dickheads like me trying to arrange for couriers to pick them up (not entirely my fault- I hate to think how many texts and phone calls were involved to do such a simple thing...)
He had to arrange the pick ups for all the Auck KB members
He had to arrange the postage for the out of Auck members

And why did he do all this?
So he could get himself some cheap leathers.

He only offered to arrange our stuff as a favour to KB members. And all the way through this, right up to the end, most of us were probably suspicious of his motives. Bet he knew it too.

Give the man some rep (click on the scales at the top right hand corner of one of Wildcats posts)

Hey guys, thanks for the interest...shipment is being sent out this week so should arrive next week...Yippee!

Anything is possible, apart from another shipment. But never fear, TonyB is taking it over so if you are interested in some great gear give TonyB a PM.

There seems to be a proliferation of people now trying to jump in on the band wagon of importing from goodness knows who.

Its all very interesting if not a little annoying...It seems these people, who gave us a hard time to start with, are now trying to bludge off all Tony's and my hard work. I sent a sample jacket down to one in particular who said it wasn't worth what it cost me, and now find he himself is going to regularly import gear - and looks to be poor quality gear too??? Go figure.

Anyway enough about my little rant, get in touch with TonyB if you are interested. Be rest assured I obtained written (emailed) references from other suppliers in Australia and the UK about these leathers, all of whom gave their full approval.

Plus don't forget they produce for Fieldsheer and have done a recent deal for boots with Thomas Cook Clothing in Aussie, so they are well regarded in the industry!

Hey dude, i understand that.

as you may have now found out Wildcat its not as easy as it all sounds, to be competetive in the market you have to have a massive amount of buying power behind you.

and the NZ M/C parts/acc market is well flooded already anyway, i dont know if people realise it but we have like 8 wholesalers, things are highly competetive and at the end of the day it works out great for joe bloggs the rider because things are just so cheap now. And you dont have to go for the big names, because half the time they are made by the same people whom make the cheaper etc.

anyways! cu.
