Don't know if that made sense to anyone but basically he fucked it. And so did I, no rear brakes, then the bike wouldn't start (thinking plug). So I guess I beat Barty5 as I got further!!

Yeah I saw you tinkering back down the road just as I was going out on the second lap and I thought something must have happened. I got a good start but ended up in a bush not far after the start thats when you got by, followed you for a little bit before getting by again (man it was hard following in that dust), pretty uneventful after that, had a good second and third lap and finished 7th overall, 1st in bike class and first in age.

Roll on round five!

Yeah the last round could still change things quite a bit, so I will be aiming for another good performance, although the track is a bit tighter their which is not my preference.

I didn't crash...that was the good bit! I think I almost got the nana rider award for going so slow and did 2 laps before stoping for a lie down (I hour 50min).

I must get fitter...... the middle part of the race was ok for me once I got on any form of "pace" but I was slow to start (I call it giving them a head start, but as a race plan it was absolute crap) and after 1.5 hours I was knackered and slowed right down.

Vazza? blew past me like I was standing still and that was about all I saw of the KBers I met until afterwards, good to meet you guys and thanks for all the advice and encouragement.

Where are those HTFU pills??

I visited Kimmys MX park for the first time this week.
Thought that was a very impressive set up.

Had a great time myself.

1st 3/4 of the first lap went great until my gear leaver bent completely sideways, forcing me into riding 1st gear for the rest of the lap.

Went into the pit stop, bent it back into place with abit of wood that worked until it came loose and flopped under my footpeg. Had to do the 2nd lap in 1st as well.

Came back into the pitstop after the 2nd lap and managed to fix it up abit.. Semi worked, could change gear, was still difficult.

Ended up coming 26th overall, not to bad considering 2 of the laps were done in 1st. I had fun anyways ;P

Ahh well, all part of it =)

That was a pretty good event. It was nice meeting up with you Crisis Mgt. I think i finished 27th in rookies. I didn't want to finish last, so mission accomplished for me.
Sorry to hear that a few of us had a bad race. especially Vazza with a munted gear lever for almost two laps.
Hoping for a slightly better result at Maddix park..Bring on round 5...:woohoo:
