Sounds good, I wont go into details but another watering establishment not too far from there ran out of ice, seems to have increased their prices and well did not appear too happy to have about 30 bikers turn up recently one Wednesday evening.
I hope the Wheatsheaf does well.

Was that over at ******* Harbour where the ice ran out???
Young Steve is behind the bar at the Wheatsheaf lately and as it's under new management I think it will go well

I missed the live music weekend but the service has been good when I have been there, staff seem friendly, Matson's beer, ok its nearly a major brand but far nicer than some others supposedly from the same city, and in my opinion this place deserves support. Good luck to the new owners.

went along to the Wheaty today and blow me down, there was a live band playing. Well...no drummer, but 3 maori guys playing a great selection of tunes!
Thoroughly enjoyed it, oh, and the ride there and back (via Akaroa!) was wicked too. Never saw one cop which made a change, they have been hammering the Akaroa Highway since that triple fatality a few weeks back:eek5:
