If there's going to be no other gold highlights on the bike then go for black.

Its a tough one allright, the black looks mean but the gold looks bling.
Also most have made the point of the Gold needing to be accentuated elsewhere to pull the look off as at the moment all the Gold is on the wheels and nowhere else.

I dont think its so much the choice between black and gold but the choice bewteen "Do i want to blend in or stand out?"

For blending, black is the obvious choice.

For standing out - Gold.

I like the attention i get on my bike, hence why it is green as it makes peoples heads turn.

You wont need to put more gold on the bike if you get the gold rims unless it was pinstriping otherwise more solid gold on the bike would make it look "blocky".

Mate I would usually say black, but this time its bling it. A few more little gold hightlight will really set it off too! Maybe an ohlins rear spring, nice gold on those suckers.

The gold looks great, but black with some of that gold rim tape would look sweet.

I'd like to see a pic with the "dark metallic grey" decal colour, to break it up, yet stay in line with the theme! However if the choice is out of the two options, I'd vote black!

The gold is gorgeous - but then again, I'm a chick so you may want to go for black!

The fairings are kinda stealth fighter looking, so the black suits them.

However the gold looks like you've bought some flash rims for it.

I suggest bright green.

Gold, but it will really need some pinstriping or other feature in the same colour else where to pull it off

Black, but you need to do the frame as well.

The gold looks cheap and so very eighties. If you are looking to look cheap and eighties then by all means go for gold. I would choose black.

That's what I was thinking, gold for bling and it's classic 'Prilla but I like the black but a variation like Owl's suggestion would be even better I reckon.
A nice metallic gunmetal would be sweet and off set the heavyness off the solid black bike.... Or maybe a deep deep dark candy red.

The black looks mean maori mean, but I choose gold.

It's an Aprilia mate. The gold is mandatory. And Gini agrees with me too.

You know mate, can you do the frame gold too.

Then we can tell everyone its a Futura Factory.

Gold looks the bizz mate. Like some people have said before though, the frame would look cool done too.

Black. Come on... If you go black you can always put coloured pinstripe tape on them. You cant if you go gold.
Besides...Black is slimming.
