Scooter: Yamaha Jog 50cc
Note: Got the scooter for riding from Cape Reinga to Bluff promoting Yamaha, 3168 kms jouney @ 55 kms/hr.
Then in August 06 from Tarifa, Spain to Skagen, Denmark (5180 kms). Still rockin CHCH with a peanut shell helmet and biggles goggles!

ummm, some how 2 hours/400ks a day doesn't work @ 55ks an hour....
unless he had a hell scoot doing 200kph.

When are you setting off on this wee jaunt around Enzed there Carver? I'll be keen to join ya around top of south for 1000kms or so, on my Suzi AY50, bog standard it'll do 65-75 kmph haulin' my 95kg pie eatin ass. Maybe 50kmph on hills. Feckin great way to see the country:2thumbsup

Yeah, I've had my cheap as chips JMStar Sunny 50 up to 75... it was still accelerating at the time so I thought I'd better slow a little since I was in a 50 zone... typically I cruise at around 60 or so though, except when it's in dire need of a service as it is right now, when it's a struggle to hit 50. Ah well, got it booked in for a service on Tuesday, should be sweet as again after that.
I'd be keen to join in on some cruisin' round the SI, though I'm not sure how it'd handle prolonged steepness heading through the mountains or hills - and I'd be worried about running out of petrol in the middle of nowhere...
