hey im just wonderin if anyone would know how many psi's i should put in my skinny-tyre cbr125 for a trackday? (for a mint day and/or a rainy one). on the factory sticker it says 29 front and 33 rear.
i was thinkin just 28/32 cos i wont be thrashing the tits too much off it on my first trackday i have to be able to ride back home...

I'd be going lower yet.
When I raced 125's on treads and slicks in the early 80's to mid 90's on both 17 and 18 inch rim's I was down at 21 front and 23 rear (18 cross ply) or 21 and 25 (17 radials).
I'd probably start at something like 25 front and 28 rear and do a session have a look. Buya tyre guage and see what sort of pressure increase you get.
Stop at the garage on the way home and pump them back up again.
I guess a few of people here who have raced RG150's etc will have a good idea also.

what tires are you running
weather for sunday doesn't look the best, so would only drop them a few psi from your normal road pressure and go from there.
on mine normal run 36/36 front rear road, down to 33/33 track on the pilot powers.

dunno if my limited experience means much but my oipinion- FIRST time out dont fark with stock settings
. In other words .
Do what you already know works for you on the road dont bugger with your head worrying about supeflous shite.
Unless you are a budding Mr Rossi then your first time on the track is going to be a whirl of sensory imputs. adding another element just aint worth the trouble.
When ya have done a lap or two then lets talk
That said ---given the chance have a natter on the day to one of the 150SS racers. Their bikes are the closest power/weight wise to yours that are likely to be out there. They are going to be able to offer you a heck of a lot of advice about pressures and suspension settings and other stuff.
