Right people. Here ya go! Another great chance to come have some fun.
This is the Thursday before Waitangi weekend.:rockon:

Manfeild Race Circuit.

$100 PER RIDER IF PRE ENTERED.
$130 IF ENTERED ON THE DAY.
Includes Lunch.

Ex World Superbike Champ FRED MERKEL WILL BE ON HAND FOR ANYTHING YOU FEEL THE NEED TO IMPROVE.

SIGN ON STARTS AT 9AM AND RIDE UNTILL 4PM

WE WILL CATER FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS.
Slow, Medium and fast groups and racebikes are allowed.

CROWN KIWI WILL BE PRESENT WITH AN ALPINESTARS DISPLAY FOR YOU TO CHECK OUT AND TRY THE GEAR FOR SIZE. With David Ladd from Crown Kiwi there to answer any questions you may have.

This is going to be a fantastic day, so pop into the shop to book your place now.

Can we book from afar or do we have to brave the the mean streets over the hill and get into the shop? I'm stuck away at work until the end of January.

Starting to see a pattern forming here of folk sticking their neck out to give track time to the hordes ! Bloody brilliant that you guys have organised this !!!
But this will be twice now that the days clash with another track day in taupo !

planning a coro loop ride on waitangi weekend and took a couple of days off either side to prepare my bike for the trip. Thinking manfield could be a good place to make sure the bike is in tip top shape for a 1600km journey.

oh yeah, have you any deals with insurance companies? Would this trackday fall in the class of "rider training"?

Couldnt think of a better way to get ready...

Havnt done any deals with insurance companies. Its a ride day with rider coach. Would be up to your insurance company in the end.

The tracks only have certain days free each year to book. I booked the track in October last year, so wasnt aware there was another day in Taupo.
Its more for the Welly riders as its a bit of a trek to get up to Taupo and back in one day.

If you keen to join, get in touch with the shop to get you name down. Would rather people pre paid as i dont really want to deal with money on the day, but in the end its up to you. If you dont mind paying more then paying on the day will be accepted.

Booked! First bike track day for me. Been to manfeild just once with the car and my lines were truly terrible so please feel free to offer advice to the noob on the ninja :laugh:

haha you never know mate, once I've arrived at the conclusion that 2 minutes is the quickest lap I can do then yeah I'll probably be looking for someone to show me the way.
I had a look at your pics, impressive. Are you riding on the 5th? Stay away from our noobie group!! :laugh:

Yeah hoping to be there ! Tell ya what, it was a year ago in feb that i did my first track day at the CD track day (or was it march lol) and i must warn ya, i dont think i've missed one since lol, but yeah it would have been a two minute lap that day too haha !
Once you've done a couple of laps that lil beast of yours will be caining my arse !

Dont hesitate to ask any of the racers there.
Myself and Fred will be there to help with anything you want to work on.

Please Please PLEASE people, make the most of having such an experienced rider there! (Fred I mean hehe)

There will be a race class if there are enough racebikes.
I know of a few coming, so will see how we go.

Its $100 if pre booked or $130 if you pay on the day. Up to you.

Good to meet ya at the sprints yestertday Ben, after seeing ya times there, i somewhat doubt you'll be doing any more than 1.20 at the track after a couple of practise laps !
Best be putting this fella straight into the fast group Martin ! Cant have him carving up the noobie riders !

No I',m sure that won't be the case!! but yeah, if it works out I should be moved along thats all good. Will be quietly working on lines and braking points for starters I think though being first time to the track. As long as there is someone for me to tailgate for a bit I'm happy :cool: Looking forward it.
