Hey guys,
I've owned a 1997 Yamaha TTR 250 for around 8 months now, and I've been thinking really seriously about selling it and buying something a little bit closer to my size - maybe something like an XR 600 - as it's starting to feel a little underpowered for me now (I'm a pretty big guy).
I was just wondering if anyone could please give me an idea of what would be considered a high odometer reading for a bike?
I originally bought it for trail riding on the weekends and getting to work throughout the week, but even though the km's are adding up, I've only ever used it on the road.
I spoke to a friend a few days ago who said that due to it being a little bit on the older side, the km's that I've clocked up since I've had it might hurt my re-sell chances? - I'm almost up to 8000 km's and was hoping to sell it for around $3000. Does it sound reasonable?
It's in really tidy condition.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks very much in advance for your time!
