Saw this on "Clarkson No Limits Shoot Out" on ONE today. Clarkson had rated it as the "Most Fun To Drive Car of 2003". I would have called it a Trike. What do you guys think?

Jeremy Clarkson always says he absolutely detests motorcycles, yet he rates the "car" most like a motorbike as the most fun to ride?!?!

There's no influencing some people. But, I do like Jeremy's show Top Gear, bloody good viewing.

The tilting trike concept has been around for a fair while - there was an Aerial branded one in the early 70s.Most are only 50cc jobs, and I've ridden some. One had a bit of work done on it by some clown,he'd made a leading link front end and stuff - it was a hoot to ride hard, you could push real hard into corners until the front end went all floppy...no worries, just keep it nailed...there was no way you could lose the rear, with 2 wheels and all that weight on them, the best I could do was chatter on a corrogated corner to get the arse out.A serious big one would be a thrill alright.

well it is disputible since it was all hydraulics but when I saw it at first I thought bike, and thought that he was going to burn it to the ground.

I vote car though!

But I really do wonder what to term it as, would love to drive/ride it though

What defines a motorbike/trike? Tough question I guess.

Were Robin Reliants ever sold in NZ? http://www.3wheelers.com/robin.html

Classic three wheeled Brit car of Only Fools & Horses fame. Now that was a car. Wasn't it? :spudwhat:

If this is the vehicle that I think you are talking about....
there was one in Palmie North in the 70's.... i think it was....
And I am sure that I have seen one still around in Auckland....
that was is still classed as a car...

A "top speed of 180 km/hour.". Ha, I know quite a few trikes the would kick it's butt. How boring. Now if they put a Busa motor in it:yeah:

The answer Biff is bi=2 and tri=3 (wheels) or to put it another way a motortrike is not a motorbike.
