After seeing a atircle in a magizine last year we decided to go and find the 'Black Stump' featured. So today Sat 17th awoke to a fantastic day, after waiting for others who renegd at the last moment owing to heavy particapation :argh:during the previos evening , a brisk pace was set from Hastings to Ypuk, where all topped up with fuel. Pressing on at a slightly more gentle pace we rode on with the day warming up quickly, a short stop at the site of the longest name place, then on to Pongora for lunch(Pub was closed) after this heading west, finding the Black Stump photos taken we then headed towards the main road, turning right an a short stop up the road onto refuel again at Woodville. We then headed home via as many back roads as possible. Over all a great ride (420km approx) with excellant company.
