View Full Version : Sneaky cops at the end of a straight!

Spotted today.
A sneaky cop at the end of the 5km straight that leads up to the Bombay hills.
It is suspected that all of the cars with suspended licences were being transported with him for "processing"...
;)
Keep a good lookout. They are getting sneakier to make their quotas.

So now that they can take out the task of driving the vehicle, they can eat donuts and operate the laser at the same time? They're showing great initiative these days.

:niceone: I know I don't think like other people, my therapist told me, but if you were in the car directly in front of the copper, you could be doing 160kph and his radar/revenue collection device would read zero wouldn't it?
Also... if the radar thing was pointed at the truck cab would that give a zero reading as well ,as it's not coming towards or moving away from the copper.
I only mention this crap because I had a mental image of 8 or so drivers whizzing down the road with a copper on their ass and no one could get done for speeding, by him anyway.
I apologize for the above nonsense but my meds are well overdue. NURSE!

That's called relativity lol
If I'm doing 100kph and you pass me at 105kph, you look like you're doing 5kph to me.
or if I do 100kph and you do 100kph we'll be stationary to each other

Ok so based on that...would that mean you weren't gay if you both had a tongue in each others ear?

No.
You're only gay if you take it.
And if you look for more then 5 seconds.

Ah sorry but no. They are more cunning than that.
Their radar these days is continually measuring 2 speeds: -
That of the target vehicle and
That of itself with respect to the surroundings.
This is how they are able to nail you from a moving vehicle and regardless of whether it's moving toward or away from you.
Consequently, the radar doesn't care how it's moving. It just knows that it is, how fast and in which direction wrt the target.

Two targets (strongest signal & fastest) & patrol with direction sensing, actually.

Oh and by 'direction sensing' I only mean towards or away from the patrol vehicle, but not the actual vector.
