lane splitting, and speed and the southern motorway, they seem like a bad mix of drugs. when i take them all at once i am addicted.
i have meet a wonderful lady out in the papakura area, and me being a puhoi boy have been spending alot of time on the motorways. there is no otherway to bypass auckland.
but i have been grinning from ear to ear with a rush of great pleasure. gaps i will not mention and speed which are stupid but it feels so good. the rush.
dam almost better than sex, well hey it lasts longer.
so does anyone have a fix for stupid behaviour?
how can i get over the excitement besides getting a nifty 50 or a cage?
what else will fix it.
and yes i know you will hurt yourself the new girlfriend might not want to go out with a cripple etc etc etc. i thought about all of that and then some. but whats up with the speed rush and buzz of splitting traffic with only centimeters. or chipped wing mirrors. i think i will have to give up on bikes. i'm just too nuts.
or is there a better fix?

After 8 crashes, doing things like that wears off... And then you only go hard on the road some of the time.... and ride like a slow moving roadblock on the race track.... hang on... thats me...
After a few crashes, it wears off... and i try to think about how fucking scared the cagers would be....

Don't bite, and reply. It's obviously a pisstake / troll. If it isn't, it's moronic. Either way, no use replying... (err, except this post ofcourse)

Myself i always like the "my heart stops for a moment" when the TL starts to shake it's head at %^&kph, the is it or isn't it kinda feeling, but then again i'm a lil loco.
Bouncing down the road at near 200kph and walking away comes a close second.
And hooking 3rd gear and keeping it airboune is a personal fav at the mo.
Spliting at speed, well i've done that once and when and looking back it was near on the craziest thing i've ever done (proberly the stupidest as well) was cool at the time, but very lucky all the same.

Splitting at speed? When I was commuting from Milford to Takanini, did it a few times. The last time, racing another bike, took quite a while for the adrenaline to stop running down my leg. One of the stupider things Ive done!
..............but shit, was it fun!

I cut through the traffic every morning on the way home from work and it is a buzz.Big difference though is that this slow-moving or stationary traffic and it`s legal in the U.K. Even then you need to be aware of absolutely everything that`s going on around you and it takes as much skill as hooning around the lanes to do safely.Blindly zapping between cars on motorways is idiotic and dangerous to yourself and other road-users.If you get caught they`ll slaughter you and rightly so.

Easy: How about you give me your bike. Problem solved.
Heck, I'll even let you have one last ride while taking it to my place.
PM me and we can talk some finer details like who pays for gas, speeding tickets, taxi's & air tickets.

I've never split traffic. Mainly because I want LOTS of space between myself and the morons in the cages. After all, they're in a cage for a reason, ie they need something to protect themselves from getting hurt cos they can't do it themselves seeing as they're stupid.

hmmmm maybe a few track days will beat it out of me.If you've never done a track day before, you don't know what you're missing - now that's a 'real' rush.:Punk:
This business of lanesplitting at speed "splitting traffic with only centimeters. or chipped wing mirrors" may be a rush to you, but IMO it is uncontrolled, dangerous madness! I travelled the Ak motorway system for years in peak hour traffic and hated every second of it. :angry2:
