About 24 years ago I had a drunk cut in front of me on my way to work. I plowed into the side of his car. Spent a couple of weeks in hospital with internal bleeding and then had close to a month off work.

My first bike got backed into when it was park, but no I haven't hit or been hit by a car while on a bike. Bit of luck I suppose because I've had the odd close call.

I've been hit by a blind cage driver! (On my first bike, the 250). Not badly though, he was reversing into, and trying to park in a MOTORBIKE ONLY parking space. Who wouldda thought reversing into a motorbike spot without looking could have you run over a motorbike and rider. If I was prone to violent bursts of rage, and if he was smaller, and alone - He'd have been in trouble haha :brick:

Only ever been knocked off a push bike (those bikes without engines) by a driver opening his door without checking.

I hit a taxi that came up the wrong side of the road and pulled out infront of me..

Yep. Side swiped by some dick that changed lanes without either indicating or looking. Biff and bike (2 month old Blade) were knocked into the central reservation, I flipped (minues the bike) a couple of times before hitting the concrete in the face of oncoming traffic. Hurt - nope. Change of pants - hell yes.
The cock that hit me off slowed down, looked at me, grinned and drove off. Nice guy.

Nope, I survived the panmure roundabout the other day without getting swiped so I think I'll be fine for a while.

Technically... I dunno. Maybe.
I've clipped one car I didn't see (tinted visor at dusk on a drizzly day), T-boned another that didn't give way at an uncontrolled intersection, and had a "coming together" with one that U-turned in front of me (ended up hitting it just in front of the driver's door, in more of a side-swipe than anything, as I was swerving as he was turning).

:ar15: Driving through Naenae (wellytown) with my headlight on, wearing high visibility gear,
I approached a controlled Give Way sign (Doing 50 kph) with a little old lady sitting in old green ford lazer, she has been there for the last 30 or so mtrs and then for no apparent reason, When i am 5 or so mtrs away she suddenly pulls out...
I scream like a little girl scared of spiders, Slam on brakes front and back or probably cause i didn't go over the handle bars back and then front.....
My tyres squealing..starting to slide upright and slowly get that sinking feeling of the bike moving sideways, which i associate with an eventual sliding on my ass rapidly across the ground and hitting something hard...
thankfully the God of motorcycles is with me and i stay upright luckily little old lady continues on oblivious to my plight and i slide past her back bumper my leg pushing me and the bike away from her car how i did not hit i do not know, i think i had my eyes shut by this stage..and as i continue to slide past her back end i wack my lower leg on her tow bar...
eventually a few mtrs on i slow to a stop and apart from a damn sore leg...and needing a clean set of dacks...i am fine..she pulls into a driveway opposite and i drive over and a bystander comes running over to check i am ok.....and asks me how the hell i managed not to hit her and go arse over over tit and say feck knows but i didn't thankfully
Said Little old driver comes up and asks if i am ok and mutters something about sun and glare and not seeing me despite all the gears and i am so glad i am still in one piece that i lamely forget about all the anger that i felt when she first pulls out that i say thats ok jump on my bike and ride off into the sunset...
:brick: all my other crashes were stupidity brought about by lack of skill and driver education on my part...read me hitting ground due to misappropriation of bike handling skills blah blah blah 3 times....twice less than 10 kph...dope....and the 3rd hitting the white lines while going around a round about.....again dope .:brick:

Yea, all I got from my wreck was some sore parts and a broken arm. Never lost conciousness (sp?) wich was lucky I guess. The whole thing was my fault becouse I was speeding to chase down this hot chick that smiled at me as she passed me while I was sitting at a light. Turns out I hit the chick i was chasing becouse I took my eyes off the road long enough for her to hit her brakes in front of me. Good thing about not loosing consiousness was as I was being put on in the ambulance and in the midst of trading insurance info I managed to ask her out and dated her for a year or so.

Well, I bounced off the back of a car once, but my bike didn't, because my Amazing Death Stoppie and subsequent forward rotation over the front wheel managed to keep the bike from touching it. Winded me real good for a couple of minutes, and my knees are STILL stuffed from that one.
It was my fault for filtering too quick.
Thinking on it, though, I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my reaction speed. Pity the bike did that 'vertical 180' thing, of course.

nope... not been hit by one.
I wrote off a very nice (ok, bloody old and well worn in) GPz550 riding into the back of an old ute.
I also rode it into the side of a concrete mixer truck (I was braking hard, and hit when going nice and slow...)
I can honestly say I'd never been hit by a car... although I have hit a few.

PS - they hurt... avoid it if you get the option.

Got clipped by a car running a red (in auckland, funny that) swerved to miss the car which took my foot off the peg with it's back bumper, while trying to swerve back to avoid the on coming traffic, scary, didn't help it was wet and when the offending car saw me he slapped on the brakes and sledged right for me.
Dont know bout you guys but i am beside myself sometimes when you see a car make a dodgey orange then 5 other cars follow him/her through, they almost need to up the intervals between one light going red and the other going green.

Yep, about 20 times, but it's a risk of the job as a London courier. All were under 20km'h. The best ones would include t-boning and flying right over the top of an Escort van, and being pushed sideways into a transit van by a French coach, the bloody driver was sitting on the other side of the bus and didn't see me.
