I might have to give the ride a miss this sunday. Its wedged right in between beach training and helpping my brother move into his new place.

Cheers for the ride last Saturday, that was good sharing some good pieces of road and a few beer with fellow bikes freaks :p

Me and the wife (lilly2wheels) will be there, as long as the numbers and wheather do the right thing.
There were also a couple of guys from the wednesday ride keen to come along.

sorry right the directions. Most people should know this one, but for us anti shoppers,

PORIRUA OW! head to porirua via state highway. you will then be confronted by a large roundabout, head towards the city in the RIGHT HAND LANE> get to the second very big roundabout and turn right (at this point you can already see the shopping mall.
Stay on the bottom level and head towards the back, you will see a wash 'n' shine place, most importantly you will see the wonderful Gixxer-King.

oh mate, the poor gv is not looking good, the busa is still in at least 40 pieces. so looking to rent (may just buy a cheapie) to get to ride, ah its driving me nuts,

There was just the 4 of us. Lilly2Wheels, ukiwi and Nofiller and me.

We left north city and headed over the haywards then up the hutt over the 'takas. We stopped at Martinborough for lunch. I headed home but the other 3 went onto ngawi and a (skinny) dip as they forgot their togs. I might be lying about the skinny dip but the rest happened.

It was a cruisy ride.... nice and gentle like. Nofiller's new Ninja with new exhaust sounded the business.

Thanks for the ride today, that was great to cruise a little bit on a small formation together !
Thanks very much Dave and Candace for bringing down to Ngawi which I really appreciated even if I finally ditched only my legs into the sea and not done the whole swim :p
That sounded pretty much like a perfect sunday ride :)
Looking forward to ride with you again !

I will post the pics I took (and the one I took of the first ride of the club as well) tomorrow !

A perfect day for a ride down to Ngawi. I lost a few kilos on the way with the heat but it was worth it, a paddle and a fruju soon sorted that out.
We should head down that way next time, or at least to Lake Ferry for a pub lunch, they might be a bit quicker with the orders down there.
A good ride for any new or less experienced riders if you take it nice and easy. The roads are pretty quiet and a good mix of long straights, sweeping bends and tightish corners.
