Zerax, pssstwssst wsssstwssstpssst. Whaddya think?

I'm out this weekend with visitors, but next weekend could be a goer...w'd hafta be sunday though...I turn 30 on Sat and the wiff would be upset if I f*cked off with the lads, know what I mean? Jsut rode back from Nelson tonight actually - went over this morning over the Maungatapu. Hard & fast up there!

Not sure about distance for you though Nordie. If the weather holds up we could look at a Wairau river crossing b/n SH63 and Northbank rd if the water is low enough. This would let us do the Leathams Rd forks up by lake Argyle (come thru St Arnaud, see you there) then find a crossing pt on the river, get up Mt Patriarch then through Onamalutu for a bit of a go on the rollercoaster then up SH6 & back to Nelson.

If we can't cross the river we could come through town, gas up and do Port Underwood rd to Picton, Queen Charlotte drive, a few km of rough 4wd track to Havelock then Nelson.

A lot of seal in between though...Thoughts?

Add that to the Port Underwood bit too - let us know how you go Padmei. And text if you have time to kill over here - recognised you briefly at the top of Porika on the DB1k as I was coming back, but would be good to meet ya.

I was wondering if there was an "official" type multi-dayer happening.
Shane had a phone message asking if he'd be interested in doing the chase thing but the person didn't leave contact details :D

I'm off to Welly next weekend to pick up my replacement engine...

I honestly think you'd struggle on a bigger bike - the DRZ was levitating the front consistently...very steep little kicker towards the top. Awesome fun though. I tried it previously when it was wet at the bottom...gave up after 4 attempts.

Turn off onto Queen charlotte drive at havelock though and there is a track going up a ridgeline which comes off the inside corner as you lose sight of havelock behind you. Should be easily doable on the Killer.

There are also a couple of goodies up where the track takes you out to Tory Channel from port underwood rd. Visible across the valley as you come around from Waikawa.

021650565 / 03 5795615 if you want to ride from sunday arvo onwards.

Shane's probably unavailable for that one.
Old Thumpers Classic MX is on in Takaka.

I may be over at that too.
