I like em a lot. The handle really well too.

I'd need different exhausts to stock.

And yeah Dave, the exhausts seem to be an issue for most owners from the reviews I have read. Apparently just too quiet and not in keeping with the character of the bike. Not a major problem to deal with though, eh.
I reckon the America looks like quality through and through !!! :niceone:

Yeah, but nothing new in styling, except a slightly wider & flatter tank!
C'mon Triumph, jazz it up a little!

Just as a matter of interest; my other half's brother owns both an America (in Cairns) and a Thunderbird (in Nelson). He likes both but naturally they have differing characteristics. He's just done about 5,000kms on the T/b over here and had no complaints whatsoever. He likes the laid-back approach of the America for the longer stretches over in Oz but the bike would be well suited to NZ roads also. He's got both ends covered though, lucky bastard.

Don't be jealous, be out there.

It's about time management; any spare time should be saddle time. Seriously, fill up and get rolling.

No ..... not exactly.
I was meaning I was envious of him having those two particular bikes.

Also .... it's not an issue of time management for me as far as getting time to go riding ..... it's the lack of a bike! I wrote mine off last weekend! As soon as finances permit, I will get a new bike! :weep:
