DD Smash I think is the most lamentable error. Swingers worth a mention too.

The Angels

I had an Angels EP with "Devils Gate", "No Secrets" and "Face the Day" live. I dinnae what happened to it...

I also saw them at Sweetwaters (Doc Nieson was hit by a bottle thrown from the crowd) - 4skins and I were working there and saw the Angels and the Oils play from the space between the stage and the crowd...wow...it is somewhat ironic that 4skins is now employed in the Audiological field...

What would be really ironic is if I was looking for the Thompson Twins when I spotted it.

But I wasn't.

We were standing behind a six foot iron fence in front of the stage (where all the security goons stood). Some guys were keeping time the the Angles and Oils by banging their foreheads on the fence...

Andrew Denton had a TV show and the wheeze was guests had to perform Stairway to Heaven.

That was then made into a compilation album and Rolf's went viral.

It was all Stairwaysa to heavensa - but a dozen different artists

If it was the 1980 one, I was in a Moth Minor throwing unsecured items at the crowd out of the rear open cockpit, as we did some illegal aerobatics overhead... :woohoo: (I was at the fly in down the road at Te Kowhai..)

Hurstville Civic Centre Saturday Night Dance.
Bonn off his tree.
Options were stay outside and get into fights with various ethnic groups or go inside and chase girls.
All the footballers would be outside posturing and foot scratching for 2 hours before a punch was thrown while I was inside making serious hay time.

Apples and oranges - pun intended - the Varadero is more touring bike - that has been set up for dirt a road occasionally.

It's big and very comfortable and quite girth-y - and pretty fast if you spool it up.
