interesting to see what gloves peeps here use, and maybe repost :(

how safe are motard gloves on road or track?

they are much more agile and light. give a more direct feel.. less slack on the tips too :D

What are you riding?

When on big rides, I wear decent road gloves but for commuting, I have 'tard type gloves...

When it's cold, I have winter gloves...

Horses for courses
I have a nice light pair of Quasi's vented race gloves which I wear early spring thru late autumn (have heated grips for the cold mornings) and warm waterproof ones for the dead of winter.

i use the motard one on track and on road
i must admit, dont think they would save alot of skin at 80 kph+

cheap too :D

I wear QMOTO SPS KNOX ones (surprisingly) went over the front the other week and they saved my hands big time.
without sounding like an advert, I dont really like the short gauntlet ones, I reckon you need a bit of wrist protection on the road personally especially the outside wrist bone part

As a resident old fart my choice of gloves is decided by the situation.
A test ride up n down our side street and I prefer the light weight of my dirt bike gloves.
On the road I wear whatever type of glove the weather dictates -thin gloves seem to get my hands cooler.
For the track--basicly the heaviest gloves i can wear whilst havin feel through the controls.
I second quasi's comment about wrist protection

I'da thunk most bins loses but whatever....

Except for the parts guy of course, he's the big winner...
