As if it wasn't enough that in this country we have adult males robbing and punching young teenage girls and blind disabled men, assaults on babies are also on our country's glowing repertoire nowadays.

Well done this indescribably low piece of filth.

"A 28-year-old man has been charged over an assault on a 10-week-old baby in Lower Hutt.

Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Cooper said the baby was taken by ambulance to hospital early yesterday suffering bruising and a possible head injury.

The baby remained under observation in hospital today.

Mr Cooper said a man was charged with assault on a child and was due to appear in Lower Hutt District Court on Thursday.

Police would not say whether the man charged was the baby's father."

Cut off his balls, no anaesthetic, then hang him out to dry. Set a precedent and see how many people follow in his footsteps.

Seriously why the fuck. Did those victim babies stole their cars, tagged on their fences or cheated on their wifes?

Throw him out of the back of the transport to court and then reverse over the bastard... let me know when he's going to court and where you intend to throw him out and i'll unwittingly run him over... How many's that (that we know of) in the last year???

Oh of course! Because now that it's illegal to discipline a child or train them morals and values, all crime against children has ended once and for all.
Those who used to beat up children can't do it any longer because there's a law against it. Even though beating up children was always illegal anyway.
And responsible parents who want to train their children no longer commit the crime of appropriate parenting.
Hurrah!

Nah, far too lenient, but definitely a step in the right direction.:oi-grr:

Ooh wait a minute, clearly he hasn't got any in the first place if he does that sort of shit.

What canya do??:argh::angry2:

Sue Bradford must be sooo proud that she did her bit to stop this.

Can't be true, we have an antismacking law that stops this sort of thing. :shit:

We also have a law that stops "dog attacks". :shit:

Cut off his balls

Naaah...couldn't have had any....

To even think that lifeforms like that could be vaguely related to people like us is revolting.......

this is sick that an adult would do this why cant we have like a gladiator type ring in a courtroom where the victims family, supporters and such all go into a ring and just bash the guy.this guy is 28 therefore he is old enough to understand his actions so since he hit a helpless defendless poor child why dont we put the adult in a ring and bash the hell out of him while hes defendless.

Could just be me... but I was thinking at 10 weeks old any 'assault" would be tantamount to aggravated assault or attempted murder or some such?

....man was charged with assault on a child...

Also I think using the word "man" was a mistake as well. Perhaps they will recant that later.

You hit an under 5, that's attempted murder. Or at least the consequences that it carries... legal mumbo jumbo having to be correctly worded and all that... don't won't those pieces of shite getting off on a technicality.

What really pisses me off, apart from the obvious, is that if as a member of the public I saw him doing it I decided to provide a deterrent in a physical manner the cops would arrest me. This is a real problem now, because the community has completely lost its role as a safety valve, or backstop for when the po po aren't in the right place at the right time, and of course they never are, because they wear uniforms and few people break the law when the plods about.

There is really nothing to protect children from their attackers. You just have to wait for the police and the victims support/cyps to come along and pick up the pieces, or risk jail, I mean goal time yourself.

but cyfs dont give a shit until its too late. my neice and 2 nephews have an absolute bitch for a mother... the youngest is about 4 or 5 months old, the oldest was 3 in december. ive just been told the mother is back/still on p. she has been on it for god knows how long. i fully expected the older boy to be born deformed due to her drug use. cyfs have been rung and informed so many times over the last 3 years, but nothing gets done. my neice, whos 3, is terrified of pooing due to it hurting her due to poor nutrition.

im now expecting the baby to end up dead if shes still feeding him while high on p [and she has picked the 2 older kids up from my brothers as high as a kite and eyes like dinner plates] we havent even seen the baby yet, except for a photo. the middle kid is 15 months old and wears a size 4... shows how overweight he is. again... shit nutrition. only time they get good food is when mum gets them.

the mother often dissappears without letting anyone know where she is, or when shell be back. she has left 5 or 6 underage kids home alone for almost an entire day [the oldest being 12 or so] with no phone line if they needed an ambulance for the 15monther.

makes me sick, thinking about it. id love to have the girl in my cae full time, and thankfully, susan is fully supportive if that should happen. but it wont happen because cyfs dont care.

both. when the cops gets called. the mother turns on the waterworks, and my brother ends up being the one in trouble. now this chick, last weekend, broke a pool cue at a pub and stabbed another girl in the gut with it... no charges. shes held her oldest daughter down and punched her in the face [girl being about 13 and wearing constant hickeys... so guess who shes gonna be like?]

ok, my brothers no angel... we arent even on speaking terms. but theres no way he would do shit like that to his kids.

the cops needs to start listening to someone other than her, and cyfs need to start listening to US, specially when theres been so many calls to them over the years. mum would readily take the 3 littlies in [the older 2 arent related to us in any way] its not normal for a toddler to have than much pain just trying to do a poo. and theres no way a 15 monther should be wearing size 4 clothes.
