Its not even blocking the road..... Apparently people are slowing to look at it and the traffic is almost at standstill.
Wish my life was that boring.

Geez Hels you should have been up this way yesterday. While Maha and I were sunning ourselves, relaxing at the beach, a whole pile of Dorkland motorists went to test out the new tunnels and caused a monumental tailback even bigger than it can be usually by going for a looksee! :killingme:
On another note, good observation skills were used today, when approaching plod hiding behind roadworks signs, one minute cruising along enjoying the breeze of speed flowing under jacket (it was really hot up here) next sweltering as we pottled past

Naaah, traffic's backed up all the way to Korokoro.
Nothing to do with that person, it's just busy.

Yep, it was heavy this morn and again this arvo around 4.30 when I was going home. Traffic was sweet until Ngauranga.... Saw the cop chaining up the bike then so it's been there for awhile! Bloody hot out there too.

Hmmm. Saw bugger all cars on the ride home from Tawa via Grays Rd and Hawyards Hill.
You guys obviously frequent the wrong roads. ;)

I rode past this incident on the way home tonight (just before 5pm)
Free flowing traffic till just before the Aotea on ramp, then traffic had slowed right down to a crawl as there were two cop cars sitting on the left shoulder with lights flashing. It looked like it was going to be a serious accident but just past the second cop car there was a guy looking like he was trying to fix his bike.
Once past the cop cars, traffic was back up to speed again.

I was going with the "thoughtful warning" for other road users but we can go with the berating instead if it makes you feel better.
