AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!

After a long long trip down, it was finally time for my second track day. After the first one the nerves were a little high.

Biggles and I unloaded our bikes - okay well Biggles unloaded them and I watched - then it was time to go.

The first session was awesome. They had a lines guy out there who we were all following for two laps and he made it so easy to see what lines I needed to take. After two laps we were off!!! This was really fun. The first time I've ever been on my bike and thought OMG this is so much fun.

I was so buzzing when I got off and we were in a garage with an awesome group of people who we so supportive and were just as proud of me as I was......especially Flame - not only is she and her bike hot, she is an awesome rider and awesome person too!!!!!

The second session was just as good. However, Biggles has said to me time and time again I need to tuck. Well, I learned the hard way that I should take his advice after being smacked in the chest by an inconsiderate bird on the track! It really hurt, but I was stoked I managed to keep control of my bike and no real damage was done. In fact not even a visable bruise!!!!

The third session is when it became even more fun. I was actually passing people! Yes me - passing people on the track!! Weeeeeeeeeeee that was great! The fourth session was very similar except I was even faster and could pass even more people.

I love this track and can't wait to come back down. The people that were there were so awesome as well. I made so many new friends and met heaps of really cool people. This was a totally different and mondo better experience than my first track day.

Hey I heard one of our riders fell off the rescue ute in the pit lanes at the PMCC round 2 after being picked up after a bin on the track. Does anyone know who this was and is he okay?

Awesome write up chick, once Mum gets her photos off her camera I will send a few. Only the best wear good looking helmets too.

Glad to hear the girls weren't hurt in the bird fiasco

Was great to meet you and Biggles! and even more awesome seeing the big smiles every time you came in from the track! thats what its all about eh.

Well done for sticking with it after your first track day hiccups. You were doing FAB out there :) (nice bike too!)

Thanks to you too for the lend of chairs to plant my bum on, and helping me get the bike off/on the stands. Really appreciated it:niceone:

It was Gah Chan who fell of the rescue ute as he was cumin into the Pit Lane. Nigel Armstrong who was running the meeting waved at me to hop onto the back of the ute to support the back of his bike back to his garage for him which I was happy to do. Gah was fine and he ended up working on his bike for the next few hours wanting to get it fixed so that he could race it on the Sunday which he successfully did.

ummm... this was a PT Sue. I tried to keep this little incident quiet until Nigel came along gave Matt a detailed account. :pinch: Oh well, what can you do but laugh about it afterwards.

PB ... good to hear you really enjoyed yourself on Saturday as you were grinning from ear to ear. I'm sure with some further adjustment you'll have that bike really humming... also very generous of you to let Dan race it on Sunday !
