Quite find Kezzafish a breath of stale air in a strange sort of way:shutup:. Wouldn't really call him a dirt bike wannabe. Just confused, annoying and outlandishly irreverant:Punk:

Hmmm...maybe he's normal?

Anyway Dellorto I'm glad you have a new bike. Nothing wrong at all with the RM85's. Give me a PM when you are heading out for a ride at The Sandpit and I'll sort some riding buddies out for you. It's OK Kezza and his mates live in Welly so they won't be hiding in the bush.

hey hey, all i said in this entire thread was that Boom's post was funny. i voted that the fukkn 85 was a good bike... simply because you (delorto) chose it and no one knows better than you. And that is basically why i write such absolute shite... because i figure that most people posting here are after a bit of a chat as well as a bit of info. if they were only after info they'd probably just search through all the previous posts because most of the stuff on here has been said before (on here).

My posts are full of flowery shit to keep me (and anyone else who finds twisted humour funny) interested but i usually only post to reply and there is usually a point to my message.... like... lighten up.

When i do post trollop i start a thread for it so it dissapears when it's not wanted. I'm sorry for upsetting you Noobi. i'll be hiding in a bush near you so i can jump out and formally appologise

All true except confused. i'd describe me as a bored pisstaker with ADHD and irreverant is spot on but at least in my lack of respect i remember to diss myself. I often have problems when i treat strangers like they're old mates

people do know better than me ! thats why i put up a post......
sure... there's always someone who knows MORE than you but you know what you want more than anyone else and that's irrefutable. A perfect example of this is that in your last poll the overwhelming consensus was that you buy a KTM and a few people said don't get an 85. you ignored them 'cos you had to figure it out yourself (which i highly commend)

Yeah sweet mate. I have nothing to do with Sidewinder and didn't agree with (or laugh at) any of his posts. I'd had a few bevs when i read your post last night and may have taken it the wrong way. lol. NEVER drink&post

Hey that was a good find never new they made a melow 2T. My sons KX85 was to much of a light switch to even bother modifying. But this KX100 seems worth a go if this works:

As you may have guessed from the prior paragraph, the goal was to turn the KX100 into a capable trail bike with some relatively basic modifications. The KX100 starts out with an outstanding motor -- fast and revvy, but with good low end for a small-bore two-stroke. We took steps to make the motor even better for trail riding by adding a ten ounce Steahly flywheel weight, an FMF fatty pipe and a U.S. Forest Service approved FMF Turbine Core II spark arrester.
Our performance modifications really did the trick. The modified KX has an even smoother power band with virtually no hit, yet it remains powerful and torquey from just above idle to a fairly high revving top end (it doesn't rev quite as high as stock, however). The FMF pipe boosted power just about everywhere, and the addition of the Turbine Core 2 spark arrester and the fly wheel weight mellowed everything out. Everyone who rode the modified bike was pleased with the engine performance.

Similar to what they are doing to the Cr250's etc but the KX100 seems like quite a good base to start from. Cheers to the young guns!

Yeah, I think it'll be a good wee bike for me, it seems to have plenty of fans on the thumpette forum. RM and KX are the same bike. Green is my favourite colour:shifty: but it just seems easier to find the RM for a better price. They don't sell them in NZ any more for some reason. I think the last ones were in 2005?
