My wife used to work as a nurse in the Isle of Man where it's common for there to be a bit of a surge in births nine months after the TT races.

She told me a story of one girl whose baby had some sort of facial disfigurement. The doctor asked the girl if the father shared the condition to which she replied: “I don’t know. He didn’t take his helmet off…”
