give me 9 months I reckon, after I sell my RGV (which should have already happened but I am being stuffed around) I will have the money but not the licence until july so I don't think I'll risk it especially after what happened to TS

just out of interest what happened to TS? i have a "friend" that rides his zxr750 with a restricted, not too sure what the penalty is though!

Written off bike, no licence, no insurance. Yeah I really want a VTR and its within my means but maybe its that responsibility which has given me the means but it won't allow me to ride something I could lose in an instant, all that hard work.

Different strokes for different folks really but its the insurance that worries me not the getting a ticket or whatever.

hmmm, yea, my "friend" doesn't have insurance either :D

Hi Toddy,
The 03' has all the modified stuff already.
What is the DR650 that you wish to trade,.. and at what value?

Modified HONDA S/S Mufflers,
Modified how? Bafflectomied then new end caps? (Did that with mine).
Are those braided lines I see?
Nice bike, by the way. :niceone:

Hi Vifferman,
The original mufflers had modifications done by 'Boyd Honda' in Hamilton.
The internals replace with a straight through glass pack unit. I think that COBY do the mod. The sound is Excellent. :2thumbsup
The baffleoctomy is not for me.. they sound bad, cost horse power and rob fuel economy.
No,.. no braided lines.

how bizzare. a mate of mine around the corner sold his Slight model 12 months ago and go a DR too. needed a seat upgrade though - they weren't made for 200k rides.....

What a beautiful bike, if it was mine & I didn't need the dosh, I'd put it in storage. I'm off overseas myself in a couple of months, & will put one bike in storage (Honda VF500), & take the other (GSX-R) with me.
Good luck.

Hi Stu Dog,..
The belly pan is available from " Just Fairings " Hamilton.
I damaged the first one that I had,.. they copied it,.. and made an Excellent high quality replacement.
