Some advice

My ninja 250R is a bit smashed up just some panels need panting or replacing and the gear change pedal has been snapped off.

I took the bike in to a have it fixed at Trevor Pierce Motorcycle. They have had it since before Charismas and still have not even given me a quote. I have gone in and asked about it 5 times and each time the guy says he will call me the next day and then dose not.
I want to have my bike taken somewhere that can actually fix my bike, or at lest give me a quote!

In Christchurch who do you take your bikes to be fixed? Or where do you think I should go with a Ninja 250? Or am I being impatient and should stay where I am?

Help would be very appreciated :)

I agree with you. First go and pick up your bike. They are not working for you and this puts you back in control. Then look for someone to fix your bike and tell them what happened to the last people to stuff you around. Good luck.

I also had trouble with not being rung back by Trevor Pierce, it seems the best thing you can do is to just keep at it and ring them.

You could try Norjo Kawasaki, they had very helpful staff when I last went there, and obviously being a Kawasaki dealership should have fairly direct access to the parts you need.

take it to the bumper shop in Hawdon Street sydenham

Murray the owner is a bike rider and racer and does a top job.the paintwork he did on my RG gets comments all the time.

get a gear change lever, fit it yourself, take the fairing off or whatever, go get it painted, get back riding.

It hasn't broken the selector shaft, right? Just the gear lever?

i tried to deal with trevor pierce but they were completely useless, ended up getting bike and taking it to this guy called terry at mobile mechanical services, on wise st in addington.
Not cheap (50 bucks an hour) but he seems to be a mechanical genius and has sorted any problem ive chucked at him and always seems to keep the price down (i guess im a cash job as he has large boats and classic cars in there all the time, thats why i trust him with my bike)
anyway each step of the way he will give me a ring and ask if i would like him to continue with the next step or he will tell me what the next step was so i can do it myself.
wont help with ya painting though, try that bumper shop as recommended, i am going to when i finally get the rg ready for painting
