47 or 37?
47. That is the temp recorded at Gimblett Gravels, where the track is.
Napier's official temp was 37, taken at the airport and McLean Park then averaged.

47° huh? I thought it was hot but I had guessed it at about 40-42° (not that I get to test that sort of heat much).

Well the TV weather said it was 37 deg up that way today.
TV weather is not accurate.
Was 42c at my place, 8kms from Roys Hill.
Got to 44c at a mates place on the otherside of town.
I gave up drinking water about 1pm, started on Ice cold Rum n Cokes for a drink or five , moved the sun umbrella over the pool and had a splash around for a few hours till I couldn't float no more. Hehehehehe

not even supposed to drive but maybe will be ok by then. talked to a few & reckon they managed to double healing time by getting on a bike too soon. :pinch: thats the dumb sort of thing i'd be likely to do. Did trail ride last week 2 days after getting some stitches in the side when doc said not to, but this is more serious i guess.
