I have a hole in my can. Its a Termignoni Carbon Fibre muffler and I was wondering if I can patch it somehow rather than getting it reskinned. The actual hole is approximately 2 cm in diameter but the outer layer has flaked off leaving a larger area of damage. Any suggestions?

You can sand it make and do a repatch in carbon fibre. The hard part will be making it look good, like matching up the right weave etc.
You'll also need a heat resistant resin to set it, otherwise it'll turn to poos once the bike get up to temperature.

Cheers mate. thankfully the hole is on the wheel side of the can so it won't be easily seen. Where can I get the patch and resin from?

You would be better off getting another sleeve from Termingoni
The nature of the fibres means that by having a break in a large number of them like that, you've now got a weak point. Fine on a fairing, not so good on what is essentially a pressure vessel :(
Plus, it'll look arse if you repair it.
You could however rewrap the entire sleeve, but why bother.
