London was at a standstill today.... not something that happens very often!!! Buses that usually bring 6 million into the city each day were stopped last night because of the snow....
Not sure how many come into the city on the trains, but I headed off as normal to catch the train to work to find that there were no trains.... Poor guy at the ticket office was being abused by arses that obviously thought it was his fault.....
I work at a law firm in Holborn, out of the usual 500 on site, there were about 50 made it in.... 3 in the IT dept (where I work). So the citrix servers took a bashing.
Anyway, hubby braved it down to Wickes (Placemakers, like) to pick up some bags of ready made concrete so he could do the edges for the new garage floor (not one to waste an extra day off work). I was stuck working from home.... Hopefully all will be better tomorrow....
So here are a couple of pics out the back of the house and out the front... Remember this is London so we are lucky to have the postage stamp sized garden ok!!
