We're going (if the weather is fine, otherwise we'll wait until next month) but we take the car - how on earth can you shop if you can only buy what will fit in your panniers!

The Hundred Years' War (French (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_language): Guerre de Cent Ans) was a prolonged conflict lasting from 1337 to 1453 between two royal houses for the French throne, which was vacant with the extinction of the senior Capetian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Capet) line of French kings

The conflict lasted 116 years but was punctuated by several brief periods of peace, and two lengthy periods of peace, before it finally ended in the expulsion of the Plantagenets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantagenet) from France (except the Pale of Calais (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pale_of_Calais)). The war was a victory for the house of Valois, who succeeded in recovering the Plantagenet gains made initially and expelling them from the majority of France by the 1450s

hope that is not too pedantic for you Dave

How long is a piece of string?

now that is a silly question. you may be better off asking, how thick is a plank? obviously it all depends on if it has Irish history or not :baby::dodge:
