With the World Rally Championship recently visiting our shores it seems the fitting time for the release of a new Speedfight 2 scooter resplendent in the livery of Peugeot’s World Rally cars.

The Speedfight 2 is utilises a 100cc two-stroke engine and automatic transmission to provide the motivation. A single sided swingarm up front looks trick, a disc brake caliper in striking red aids the exclusive look.

Security is of prime concern these days and Peugeot has fitted the Speedfight with a formidable anti-theft system. An electronic engine immobiliser is transponder linked to the ignition key. A reinforced steering lock also aids security.

Peugeot’s Richard Burns currently heads the World Rally Championship standings and Peugeot also lead the way in the manufacturer’s standings.

The 2003 WRC Peugeot Speedfight 2 is going on sale at $5,720 plus on road costs.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

WRC and 206... ok, they fit. but SCOOTER!? where's the link!? thats a marketing gimmick if ever there was one (regardless of how good the machine is). It makes aprilia's Edwards replica RSV-R (when he races an RS3) look like a begineers stunt.

bloody frogs.
